Jenna was absolutely exhausted and collapsed on her bed in the hotel room. "That was horrible."
"Defense attorneys are nitpicky; you didn't do anything wrong," Whitmore said tetchily. He was a tall blonde man that didn't speak often but when he did it was usually to complain about defense attorneys. He must bear some sort of personal grudge.
"Don't worry about it!" Valdez chipped in. "The evidence is conclusive. I'd love to see that slimeball talk his way out of this one."
