Bryce didn't know what to make of this new development. It felt like he was dreaming because there was no way the woman he loved he agreed to be with him in any real capacity.
When she first kissed him, he had lost his head and kissed her back because he had suffered without the taste of her lips for so long but he hadn't expected it to end this well for him. Since then he had been able to properly kiss her several more times but also casually touch her whenever he wanted. He had practically been glued to her side every second they had been home at the same time because otherwise it would feel too much like a dream.
Having people to come home to after work had been amazing but having someone to come home to and get a kiss from was even better. It had been so long since he had that and back then it was different because he picked her up from work. She hadn't been waiting for him when he came back.
