Jenna was a bit distracted at work the following day. More than a bit if she was being perfectly honest with herself. She couldn't stop thinking about the night before and everything that happened both at Sunday dinner and after.
She would kill to know what was actually going on in Bryce's head. Sometimes it seemed like he was blaming her and sometimes it seemed like nothing had changed and he was still the same twenty-five-year-old that had loved her so deeply.
She powered through her work though and after picking up Wesley from school took him straight to Colton's house because he wanted to play with Kingston. She ended up chatting with Alison, who thankfully didn't bring up the topic of her "new" boyfriend, until it was time for them to go meet up with him.
Normally Wesley hated leaving his friends' houses but this time he did so without complaint because he knew he would be seeing his dad. He had attached so quickly!
