Bryce turned toward Jenna with wide eyes after her outburst defending him against himself. A moment later his face broke into a heart-stopping smile. One she was intimately familiar with. That was the sort of smile he gave her back when they were together and in love.
"Oh yeah? Care to tell me how I'm not boring then?" he asked teasingly.
Her face was on fire but she couldn't back down after already making a fool of herself. "Someone willing to comb the depths of the internet to come up with unique things to do all the time couldn't possibly be boring. Or someone that has a similar sense of humor to me because mine is super weird."
"She's not wrong," Evan remarked. "No one has weirder senses of humor than Jen and Jonas since theirs are exactly the same."
Jonas stuck his tongue out at his brother for bringing him into this but didn't refute. "Whatever. Mom? Is the food ready yet?"
