"Oh, the game is starting," Colton pointed out.
The conversation immediately ceased and all three of them focused on the field. Wesley's team was up to bat. A bunch of kids Bryce wasn't familiar with went before Kingston did and he actually managed to make it to second base.
"Whoo! Go, King!" Jenna and Colton cheered. He looked at them and shot them a thumbs up with a proud smile on his little face.
When it was Wesley's turn he also made it to second, allowing his cousin to make it home and score their team a point. The cheering was even louder this time because Bryce joined in and he beamed up at the stands.
The Mitchell siblings high-fived each other with wide grins as the next child went up to bat. "Our boys are the greatest," she bragged.
"Duh. They have Mitchell genes," Colton said as if it were obvious. "We're all born athletes except Pete but he still manages to kick my butt in ping pong fairly often."
