Once Wesley was tucked into bed, Bryce waffled before leaving. He had really wanted to see Jenna today but she did look exhausted even after her nap. He ended up standing there a bit awkwardly by the door asking about plans for tomorrow.
She ran a hand through her messy hair and yawned. "Tomorrow we're all going to watch my niece's dance recital so we won't be here. And the day after Wesley is sleeping over at my mom's house with some of his cousins. I'll give you the address and time for his baseball game on Saturday. It's the last one of the season so they'll all be getting little trophies."
His heart sank. He had to wait two days to see them again?
"What are you doing on Friday then?" Bryce blurted.
Jenna seemed surprised. "…I'm going to be out with JoJo and some friends. I usually am when Wesley has sleepovers."
