Chereads / Jinn slayer / Chapter 82 - Tic…Toc

Chapter 82 - Tic…Toc

Ahana and Joey's energies clashed together. "You have certainly caught me…off guard, Joey!" Ahana said as she struggled to keep his energy from overpowering her own.

(If his jinn energy flows on my side, his ritual will activate and I'll be caught! I know nothing of his ritual! I thought having bonds with people and having them killed was that…or starting a apocalyptic event!)

"Uughhhh!!" Joey yelled. (Ahana…everyone respected you! And you turn your back on us! After everything that's been done! You must die! I will kill you!)

"Let's see you try!" Ahana laughed as the two pushed and caused a massiave explosion. Ahana flipped and landed on her feet. (Both of our rituals canceled each other out! Now I just-)

Joey bursted through the dust and landed another punch. "Infinity counter punch!"

Ahana was pushed back. (My healing…it…has hit rock bottom?!)

Ahana notcied that her body and powers were falling significantly in strength. (Damn you, Jaden! That sword messed me up!)

Joey held out his hand. "Jinn slayer!"

The jinn slayer sword flew into his hand. "Infinity counter…world cutting slash!!"

Ahana held out her hand and shot a ball of energy at the strike. The dust cleared. Joey could see Ahana leaned up against a building with her arm completely sliced off.

Joey could feel his power starting to slip. "Damn. I keep this demon form up for long. I have to hurry up and end this!"

Ahana looked up and laughed. "You kids…really have put in the effort." Ahana said in pain. She forced herself up.

"You can't heal good anymore. Plus…your strength is fading. This fight is over…Ahana. Fix this if you can. If you can't…you're just another dead person." Joey said.

"Ahana! Joey-boy, this is far from the beginning. That was a short round two. Round three is starting now! Did you really think you were the only one who has a demon form?! Behold!"

Joey quikcly raised his sword. "NO!!" He yelled as he flew at Ahana. "GET READY JOEY-BOY!!" Ahana yelled as she flexed her entire body and yelled.

Her energy and aura pushed everything in the area away. Her body was covered with veins and blood. "Aauggghhhhhh!!!!!" Ahana's body grew in size. Her muscles were thicker than before and she had two long red horns sticking out right above her eye brows.

"In this form…all of the things you've all done to my body has been completely erased! This is my absolute full-self, Joey!" Ahana laughed as her skin turned gray and her hair turned white.

(She looks…just like a demon. A full-formed demon straight from hell.)

Joey thought. "Now that I'm at full-power…let's see how long you can last! You want to fight for the humans…then die with them, Joey-boy!!"

Ahana bend down and held her arms back. Two red lights formed at the the palms of her hands.

Joey took a stance with the jinn slayer sword with a worried lion on his face. "This power…is far beyond anythingn I've felt or seen! It's incredible!"

Ahana shot the beams of energy at Joey. He put away his sword and flew into the air. He looked up to see Ahana's foot headed towards him. (So…fast!)

Ahana kicked Joey, breaking his neck in the process.

Joey flipped and turned until he was facing Ahana. His neck cracked back into place. Ahana then flew above Joey and shot a barrage of small blast. It looked like it was raining energy blast.

Joey flew and dodged some of them. Ahana then slammed her hands together to create a large attack. "Solar bomb!"

Ahana shot the blast. Joey tired to avoid it but couldn't. Ahana activated her Allah eye to keep him in place. Joey took the hit head-on, followed up by another barrage of energy blast.

Ahana swooped down to find where Joey was was. She noticed him running in the opposite direction.

Ahana followed him. She reached out and was about to grab him. Joey stopped and turned around to try and kick her.

His leg was stopped. "That damn eye!"

Ahana landed another blow on Joey, causing him to crash into a building. Joey lifted his head. Ahana's knee was about to crush his skull.

He rolled to his left to avoid it and tried to fly away. But, Ahana grabbed his leg and slammed him to the ground repeatedly.

She then tossed Joey to the side and threw an energy ball to his chest, making him go faster into another building.

(I can't keep up! Her movements are on another level!)

"You still feeling confident, Joey-boy?!" Ahana laughed as she then punched him through the building. Joey flipped his body and muttered the word: "demonic handle…eight swing!"

Ahana used her eye and looked ten second into the future. (Oh?)

Ahana leaned back as Joey's fist flowed with red energy. She dodged each attack with ease and knees Joey in the stomach.

Joey spat blood on Ahana's face and clutched his fist. The blood exploded on her face, making burn marks in the process.

"You little-"

Joey then tried to throw a kick. Ahana blocked it and was hit against a building. "There's that fight!" Ahana laughed as she then grabbed Joey by the leg. Joey acted quickly and sliced off Ahana's leg.

Ahana he's the leg back and began to drag Joey's face across the building. She then lifted off into the air and flew while holding his head against the building.

Joey thought of Alastor, Jackson, Lily, and everyone else. "Rauggghhhh!! Traitor!!!!" Joey grabbed Ahana by her arm and twisted his body.

He punched the building and grabbed some pieces. He chucked the pieces of building toward Ahana. She laughed. "Slash!"

The pieces were chopped up. She then used her eye to send the projectiles toward Joey.

He used this sword to cut right through the pieces. Ahana clapped her hands and caught the sword between her hands.

(What is this strength? It's almost like…he's learning as he fights. Again, I know my eyes are a little inaccurate. This is something I didn't see.)

Joey let go of the sword and landed a powerful kick to her rib area. A large chunk of the building came crashing down between them, while they were falling.

Ahana let go of the sword and pulled both her arms back. Joey slammed his hands together .

"Ritual!"

"Allah's shine!"

(Did he…just say…)

(It's incomplete. I don't even know what my ritual is…but, I know for certain…I can do that.)

"Reverse." Ahana whispered.

Time itself was reminded ten seconds in the past. Ahana had caught the blade, the two continued to fall, Joey kicked her, the large price of building fell between them, and the two charged up their attacks again.

(This feels…like it happened?!) Joey thought as Ahana unleashed a powerful air-punch that went directly through Joey.

Joey puked up blood as he was flung away. Ahana cooled off and landed on the ground. (I can't do that but only once more.)

Joey emerge from the rubble wanna walked towards Ahana. "Still not finished? I just say, I'm rather surprised you've lasted this long. You and your friends have made me really resort to this form, Joey-boy."

"Whatever." Joey responded. Ahana rolled her eyes. "Stop defending the humans. Me and you are practically gods! You shouldn't care for a pathetic species. The brain is the most dangerous thing, Joey-boy. Let's say the world knew about jinns. What do you think would happen? You think we'd be at the top of the food chain?! No! We'd crumble! We'd be defeated, killed, and they'll have great technology. Listen, I do all of this for the benefit-"

"For your own benefit. Screw what's coming. I could care less about any of it. All I care about…is ripping that head off of your body."

Ahana chuckled. "Joey…you don't seriously think you have a chance? You aren't even keeping up. I'm still just getting started." Ahana chuckled.

"Ahana…you seriously didn't think we'd have a plan, did you?" Joey chuckled. Behind Ahana, emerged Sho. He jumped from his shadows and clapped his hands. "Damn this better work. I just regained a good amount of my shadows."

"Shadow ability…FULL TRANSPORTATION ROOM!"

Ahana could see the meeting room of the jinn slayers. Kebushie was holding the wish jinn in his hands. "Come get it." Kebushie said while motioning Ahana to go after him with a finger.

(I didn't see this future. He…he has the wish jinn?!)

Ahana took a step foward and halted. (Wait, it's obviously a trap. Even if Kebushie did make a wish, it wouldn't benefit the group, just him.

Everyone decided to keep their minds empty…at least, that was the plan. Kebushie then began to think out loud. (Come on, take the bait!)

Ahana smiled wide. "I see what's going on here." She spun around and pointed at Sho. His chest bursted open as blood shot out from it.

(He just won't die. No matter how many times I hit-)

Lighting struck in the distance. Ahana turned around once again to see Jodi and Lily both closing in on her and landing punches.

Ahana was pushed back. She caught her balance. (Lily?!? That…is her?! What happened to you?!) Ahana thought as she looked straight and looked directly into her eyes.

"Just when did you become…so beautiful, sister?" Ahana whispered as she grabbed the two by their faces and slammed them into the ground. (It would seem Joey,Lily,me, and Adrienne all can use jinn energy. This changes things. Can she access the eye ability?)

Lily grabbed Ahana's arm and forced it off of her face. "Leave my family…alone!"

(Her physical strength far exceeds my own!) Ahana freed her arm and jumped back. (They want to force me into the portal Sho created. I'll stay away for now-)

Sho slid and knocked Ahana down. As Ahana was falling, Sho opened a portal into the meeting room.

Ahana readjusted her body and avoided the portal. Joey flew in and pushed her from behind.

Ahana was about to fall in. She used her arms and legs to hold herself out of the portal. "Fall in!" Joey yelled as he pushed her harder.

Ahana used her eye and pushed Joey out of the way. Kebushie jumped up and pulled Ahana in by her shoulders.

The portal closed. "Where are they?!" Joey asked. Sho shrugged his shoulders. "In the meeting room. Kebushie's plan." Sho said.

"Open the portal. I'm going in!"

"Can't do that."

"Why not?!"

"Kebushie specifically said not to allow-"

She's eyes grew in size. He smiled lightly. His smile…his smile made Joey feel warm. "What is it?" Joey asked.

Sho snapped out of it. "It's nothing. I do want to know who that cutie is." Sho said while pointing at Lily.

"She's off limits you freak." Jodi threatened. "I'm just kidding." Sho sighed. "You two are no fun." Sho added while walking past the group. "Where are you going?!" Joey asked.

"Yall don't feel that? There's an ability about to take place." Sho said.

"Don't think we've forgotten what you've done! If we all survive this, you'll answer for your sins!" Jodi yelled out.

Sho stopped in his tracks. "Nah. Not tonight."

******

Ahana was sitting in a chair. Kebushie was on the other end of the table, holding the wish jinn in his hand.

"One wrong move…and I'll wish you never existed!" Kebushie threatened. Ahana slammed her fist on the table and slowly dragged them down before laughing. "I love this little gambling situation."

"Don't even try to act calm. I'm serious, Ahana. We're in the shadow realm. Only Sho can let us leave."

"Why the shadow realm? You think-"

"You'll be trapped here until you die. We can't leave unless Sho chooses them or allows them to leave. Don't you get it?! You lose!"

Ahana sat back in her chair and played with her hair. (The hell?)

"Kebushie, I could care less about this…shadow realm. The only thing I care about, is that little jinn in your hand." Ahana said while wiggling her finger at him.

"What do you want?" She asked.

Kebushie got out of his chair and leaned in. "I want to know why you're doing this."

"Me?! Kebushie, come on. You tried to kill everybody! You still are! You can't question me." Ahana chuckled.

Kebushie put the wish jinn on the table. "You wouldn't." Ahana said in a serious tone.

"Oh, but I will. You have no power here. I assume that pisses you off?"

Ahana smirked and rested her arm against the table. "So what? Want me to admit defeat? I've already told you why I'm doing what I'm doing. Besides…I have the upper hand here."

"You do?!" Kebushie chuckled.

"Well, of course. If you really wanted me dead…you would've been made your wish. On top of that, it looks like everyone in this town is dead."

Kebushie have Ahana a confused look. "Huh?"

"This town is going to explode within 15 minutes. That's all you have…Kebushie. Tic…toc…tic…toc."

Kebushie smacked his lips. "With this jinn…I wish that-"

Ahana flipped the table over and punched through it, hitting Kebushie directly in the middle of the face.

Kebushie fell face-first on the ground, knocked out. Ahana took a deep breath. (Not a smart move. There was no possible way I'd let him even chant those words.)

Ahana picked up the wish jinn and put it in her back pocket.

"Sho, open the portal!" She yelled in Kebushie's voice. It was so spot on that there was no difference what's-so-ever.

******

Sho could hear Kebushie's voice. "Already? Heh, okay."

Sho put his hands together and was about to open the portal before Joey stepped in and stopped him.

"You idiot. How can you be so sure?!"

"Umm…did you not hear him?"

"Yes, but-"

"Okay then. Shut up."

Sho continued his spell. A black hole opened up in the ground. "Wait! Just ask him something only he would know." Lily yelled out.

Sho turned his head slowly and gave Lily a confused look. "Since when did you wanna start yapping?!"

Lily had an offensive look on her face. "I'll have you know that I'm new to all this! Why would I try to even do things if I'm new?!"

"Umm…I guess it's a punk thing or something." Sho shrugged. "I'll do it though little girl." Sho rolled his eyes. "When…did you decide…to save me from my disease?" Sho asked.

There was a moment of silence. Ahana looked into Kebushie's memories. There was no memory of him saving Sho.

"I never did. I never decided anything. I've lied to you…and I'm sorry, Sho. I- -I'm so damn sorry."

Sho fell into a silence. "Kebushie didn't know that I knew about him lying. However, the fact he knows what I'm talking about says it all. Kebushie lied to you all and me. I know the truth about how he stole me. For that reason…it is him." Sho said while opening the portal fully.

Joey thought about Ahana and the thing she used to say. (I know all.)

Joey's eye were opened wide. "SHO, THAT'S NOT HIM!"

Sho turned back to Joey with a concerned look on his face. Ahana's eyes glowed through the dark portal. Her white hair dangled down as she began to emerge.

"What'll happen if I were to just…"

Ahana held out both her arms and hands. A large glowing arrow formed at the top of her fingers.

"Allah's shining arrow of faith!" She pointed the attack at Lily. Jodi used his lighting. "Just kidding!" She laughed as she pointed the attack at Sho.

"I wonder if when the shadow user dies, will his ability still die with him? Will this trap Kebushie inside of your little world, Sho?!" Ahana laughed as she shot the arrow and hit Sho. The arrow hit him on the shoulder and exploded.

Joey,Lily, and Jodi were all blown away from the large crowd explosion.

******

The smoke cleared. Joey looked around for Lily and Jodi. Joey looked up to see Sho standing a few feet in front of him.

His entire left side was blown away. "Heh. This…feels and looks…familiar." Sho chuckled while barfing blood.

"Joey, I learned…the truth. If you haven't noticed…Jiniki is no longer with me. He transferred all of his memories to me. I saw my mothers death and my sister. As long…as I know she's out there…I've fulfilled my promise to find her." Sho said with a smile.

"I know I'm going to hell. I'd I become a jinn…promise me you'll tell her about me. That is if you see her again after what you've done to her."

Ahana flew down and held out her hand. "Any last words? You've been a pain in the ass this entire battle."

Sho smirked. "Nah."

Ahana have him an annoyed look. "Don't want to be like your mother, huh?"

"At least…my mother was a proud woman. Not some underground stank who souled her kids to the devil."

Ahana have him a nasty look. "You are such a fucking disappointment. Your mother would be ashamed."

Sho smiled. "Maybe….but I know I made her proud. Elizabeth…will see these memories and be proud too."

(Mother…I've finally found her.) Sho thought with a crack in his voice.

Tears ran down his face. "I…did it…I really found our Elizabeth." Sho cried.

(Dirty filth! It's like he doesn't even care about death. Why…why won't you show fear?! He…only cares about the fact he found Elizabeth. Some humans…really do think on that level, huh? Good for you, Sho.)

Ahana lifted her hands into the air. Shi'a body levitated above Joey. Joey watched as Sho's body was twisted in a unorthodox fashion. You could hear the bones cracking. His body was twisted and stayed that way. He fell to the ground, a pile of meat in front of Joey.

"That leaves…the three of you." Ahana laughed.

Ahana clapped her hands together and summoned a light spear-like weapon. "Been hundreds of years since I've used this." Ahana chuckled.

"Ready to start the final round, Joey-boy!?"

Joey stared at Sho's body. "Damn." He said as he got to his feet. "Jinn slayer." The sword came to his right hand.

"All of our plans…have failed, Ahana. Nothing has worked against you."

"Yet…here you are, still trying."

"That's what we do." Jodi said while holding his chest. Lily stood beside Jodi. She unleashed her jinn energy. The energy surprised Ahana. (That power…is…one of the prince's!!)

"Just…what have you done, Lily Castle?! Don't you know what you've done?!"

Lily ignored her and closed her eyes. (I bet I could do it.)

Lily built up her jinn energy and said: "ritual:The souls fate."

*the town will explode in 10 minutes*
