Walking through the mist filled street, Eric carried Dante on his shoulder heading towards the morphing tower. This wasn't some way of him making up for what he did to Serena. This was his way of making up to Dante for what he did for him.
Sure he wanted to die; however, he did not want to leave Dante exposed when he did so. He remembered that Dante believed in him even after he had betrayed them. He also remembered that he was the first to take action after hearing about Elisa for the first time. He was sure from his tattered clothes back then that he was almost killed.
Up to this point, Eric saw Dante as a puzzle he couldn't quite understand. Not only power wise but also the way he thought. It was even kind of surprising that someone as powerful as him wasn't trying to do what Ren was currently carrying out.
"This is not safe at all," Eric spoke as he looked at the crystalizing curtain he had on.
