Chapter 93 - “Who Are You Really?”

"Hello, Loreana, Luna, and Crystal." Della walked closer as she once again greeted them all. "I'm so excited to finally meet you guys."

The trio looked at her as she expressed her joy. Her every action made them feel comfortable, as if they had known each other forever. They themselves didn't know why this thought appeared in their minds, but they surely didn't dislike that feeling.

"Hello." Loreana was the first to speak. "It's nice to meet you, too." She paused before adding with a wry smile, "Although I'm a bit confused as to how this all is happening."

"Don't worry." Della smiled. "I'll explain that in a bit."

She then greeted Luna and Crystal before turning towards Anom.

"Oh? You're here too?" Della asked, acting surprised as if she had just discovered him.

Anom's lips twitched as he heard this.

Forgetting me right after getting new sisters, eh? He thought about it, knowing full well that she'd hear it too.

He didn't show it on his face, though. Bending forward, he bowed to her gentlemanly before speaking, "Yes, my lady. I, the doorman, have helped the guests enter your palace." He then smirked slightly. "If you'll allow me, I'd like to take my leave now." Though he asked for permission, he had already started dispersing his focus from the soul imprint.

"Wait!" Della panicked. "If you leave, they'll get kicked out of here too."

"Is that so?" Anom asked with his hands crossed over his chest. "Then what do you suggest I should do?"

Della pursed her lips before showing a defeated expression. "Come over and have some tea with us, please."

"Of course." Anom nodded happily. "I'll take a coffee, though."

The three ladies on the side looked on in amazement as they saw how Anom made the elegant looking lady lose her composure. They also tried to follow the rest of their conversation, but a few unfamiliar terms hindered them from understanding it in its entirety.

"Let's go." It was only after Della called out that they moved.

They walked on the flat ground that was covered in trimmed grass, moving seemingly nowhere.

Just as the girls were wondering about their destination, the scene around them changed as they found themselves standing in a wooden gazebo.

They looked around in amazement and realized that it was quite spacious. The scene outside was that of the grassland they were walking upon earlier.

"Let's sit." Della gestured towards the center of the structure, where a round table with five chairs around it was placed.

Following her lead, the others also sat down in the chairs, which felt quite comfy to lean into.

After everyone had settled down, Della finally spoke. "I know it might be a bit abrupt for you all, but you don't have to worry about anything as it is actually quite simple," said the woman, who was actually a goddess.

After a short pause, she added, "Now you can ask me if you have any doubts."

Anom also curiously turned towards the ladies, as it seemed that doubts were all they had at the moment.

Once again, it was Loreana who started the conversation.

"I don't mean to come across as rude, but…" Loreana looked at Della in doubt. "Who are you really?" She then paused and added, "That is, besides Anom's lover." Her tone was a little strange at the end.

Della chuckled at her question, but instead of answering, she looked at Anom. "Who am I, Anom?" She asked with a smile.

But Anom knew that it was not a joke; instead, she was gauging the level of information he was willing to reveal to them. It's not that he didn't trust them, but there were some things that they might not be able to comprehend, and it might even confuse them.

Anom thought for a bit and concluded that it might not be easy for them to digest the fact that he is from another world for now. As for Della being a goddess, well, he didn't want to come across as delusional to his lovers.

So after preparing a well thought-out final answer, he spoke. "I know you might have a lot of questions regarding her origins." He then smiled. "Even my origins have been unclear to you all, haven't they?"

Loreana was the first to nod. Although they trusted Anom, they still had no idea where he had come from.

"Well, I can't tell you much about it for now." He then paused before shaking his head. "No, it's not that I can't tell you, but that telling you right now might not be the best thing."

The ladies had thoughtful looks on their faces as they shared a glance.

"It doesn't matter, anyway." Crystal spoke this time. "It is enough for us that you are with us." Luna also nodded hurriedly as she finally heard something less complicated being said.

"Just tell us what you can." Loreana also smiled in agreement. "You can tell us when you think we are ready."

Anom smiled. Nodding his head, he started narrating some things about himself. Although it was not much, it was enough to give them a general idea.

"So, basically, you're saying that you are from a completely different place, one that might even be outside of this continent." Loreana processed his words before she turned towards Della. "And you're saying that she is a kind of spiritual being that is responsible for bringing you to this place."

"More or less." Anom shrugged. "You can think of her as someone who exists alongside nature."

Seeing them fall silent, he added, "I know it's a bit confusing, but I wanted to make it clear to you all because the journey ahead will require us to depend on each other." He then looked at Della. "Just like you three, she is also an important person in my life, so I hope you can get along well."

"What are you even talking about?" Loreana frowned. "If anything, we should be grateful to her for bringing you into our lives." She then turned to Della and smiled. "Thank you, Della. Truly, I can't even imagine what would have happened to us had Anom not been there with us."

Della smiled. "It was just meant to be."

"Now that we're done with the serious talk, how about having some fun?" Anom had a grin on his face as he looked at the girls talking in peace. It was a weird feeling to see them together in harmony like this.

Harems are not so bad after all.
