Shotoku was happy, for Garaki had gotten him pants. And a dress shirt. The man had been quite embarrassed when he realized that he had left the child of his master naked. The way he rushed off to find clothes had been hilarious.
"Thanks for the pants."
"It is no problem, young master." Shotoku was pretty sure that he should make Garaki stop addressing him like that, otherwise he might end up becoming a dumbass pansy Chinese novel young master. Though that could wait until later.
"How long has it been since my father's... defeat?" Death more like but he had enough sense to know that using that word would have sent Garaki into depression. He needed his minions happy and ready to work.
"Over two years sir, almost three." So he had a little over two years before the start of canon and almost three before the main cast started UA. He could work with that.
"How bad is our manpower?" Cause he had no delusions that Allmight hadn't been able to capture All for One's other followers or that they haven't jumped off the ship the moment he was gone.
"Not good sir, we have a few people but they are canon fodder at best and Gigantomachia…" Garaki trailed off but Shotoku understood. Gigantomachia was a fanatic when it came to All for One, a honest to god zealot. He had rejected Tomura because of his weakness when he had met the boy without thinking about his connection to his master. He probably should investigate about Tomura though, or Tenko since he hadn't been 'saved' by All for One. The point being that Machia would not accept Shotoku until he was stronger than the giant.
"I understand."
"But there is one advantage your father has left us with sir!" Garaki replied happily as a black swirl appeared behind him and took a humanoid shape with a mist for head and a metal neck protector.
"This is Kurogiri, he is the last creation of your father and our greatest success other than Machia!" Garaki clapped his hands like an excited child as Kurogiri kneeled before Shotoku.
"I am here to obey and help you, young master." Yeah this was getting ridiculous.
"Ok, first thing first. Stop calling me 'Master' or 'Young Master'. Either call me 'Sho' or 'Sir'." Garaki did not seem to be very happy with his new decision.
"But youn—"
"No! Nothing longer than three letters, either 'Sho' or 'Sir'." Sho cut him off with a glare and the doctor seemed to deflate.
"I understand… sir." Sho nodded with approval at that.
"Good, now first thing first, Doctor, tell me about the quirks this body has."
"Sir, can't you feel them with All for One?"
"I can but I want to confirm that they are what I feel without using them and causing damage to the room. So quirks, tell me." Sho ordered the doctor as he crossed his arms.
"Yes sir. As you already know, your body has the original All for One quirk that allows one to take quirks from others for yourself or give them to someone else. Other than that you also possess 'Rivet Stab', 'Forced Quirk Activation', 'Muscle Augmentation', several strength enhanced quirks, a warping quirk that can only be used on others and lastly an amalgamation several quirks that All for One used as one lie detector quirk." Ok so All for One did let you know about the quirks you have. That was useful.
"Very well, Doctor I need internet, I want to see how the world is currently shown to the populace."
"I can just answer that sir."
"You can but I have more important work for you." Sho rejected Garaki's offer.
"We need a steady source of income, pretty sure that there are some people we can control through my connection to father."
"There are several, I can make a list of them if you wish."
"Do it, also I want you to search for a mental quirk. It doesn't have be some all powerful world conquering quirk, just make sure that it's subtle and it's user can be someone that can have an… accident." Sho said and winked at the word 'accident' much to Garaki's amusement.
"Very well sir." Garaki stood up and went to his computers just as Kurogiri reappeared, when the hell did he go away, with a laptop in his ethereal hands.
"Here sir, is there anything else you require." This guy would make a damn good butler, Sho was definitely lucky.
"Please bring some some food, something nice. This will be my first meal since I got out of the tank after all."

Shotoku has learned that shrimp tempura don is to die for and the chef who made it deserved a huge tip.
He also learned that he was in a very AU world. An alternate universe where UA was not an high school but a university. Which made sense since it prepared children for their job in society so the subject of heroics being in university was far more logical. Though this did make him worry about the timeline, he found out that Aldera middle school was also a high school in this world so it was probably ok.
The real problem wasn't in Japan though, no the problem was outside of it. In canon the only hero out of Japan that was worth something was Star and Stripe with her ridiculously overpowered quirk. Here? Here there were more noteworthy heroes around the world:
Number 1 hero of Greece: Wonder Woman and her Amazon sidekicks.
Number 1 hero of Egypt: Black Adam.
Number 1 hero of China: Qin Shi Huang.
Number 1 hero of England: Captain Carter.
Number 1 hero of Kenya: Storm.
And many others. The world was filled with heroes or characters that he could recognize from other medias, they weren't exactly the planet buster versions of anyone but this still did not bode well for Sho, anything too obvious happened in Japan would invite these ridiculous powerhouses before he could say 'fuck me with a pitchfork'. No meaning in thinking too deeply into outside for now though, now he needed to make sure he had a steady income to support himself and quirks that would guarantee his safety.
"Sir."
"Ahh Doctor, I guess your list is ready." And it did not even took him an hour, truly having competent underlings was a blessing.
"Yes sir, unfortunately there is only man that I could find with a quirk of your wish that we can make disappear without too much effort. But we do have several wealthy families that can be controlled here." Garaki turned from sad to upbeat in less than a second as he gave a list of families to Sho who started to look for any familiar names and found one almost immediately.
Aoyama family.
Family of one Aoyama Yuga, later known as 'Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling' and the one who would be the UA traitor. Born quirkless and then given Navel Laser by All for One years ago, his family was deathly afraid of Sho's father. A useful pawn as long as one did not use him too obviously but not exactly what Sho wanted.
"How much leverage do we have against these families?" Sho asked as he continued to read the list.
"Very much. We have blackmail against all of them, enough to sent some of them to jail while we have enough to sent some families from their rich lives to streets. And even on those we don't have as much, they are scared shitless of us, they will not reject us or go against us." Garaki laughed smugly at the hold they had over some of the richer families's of Japan.
Finally Sho found one family that he wanted to use. One of the richest in the country with a daughter who had an impressive quirk and enough blackmail to sent them to streets as Garaki had said.
"Garaki, we are going to take the mental quirk. Then we are going to have some talks with Intelli family."
