Walking into the hotel, Adam swiftly walked past the receptionist and barely returned her greeting. He walked into the private elevator meant for him alone and when he comes in with a visitor, he pressed the P button that leads to the penthouse which was on the 30th floor of the hotel. He remembered buying the hotel from an old friend who couldn't maintain the upkeep as well as the customers of the hotel. Having studied Business Management and Control, he was able to revive the hotel and earn good profit from it. It was only one of his businesses in the city of New York
He then thought about Celine, his girlfriend who he intend to make his fiancee soon. He smiled as pictured her beautiful oval - shaped eyes and slender figure. She was a model and had all the looks. The height, pose and charisma was what enticed him to her. They've been together for two years and it's time he settled down with her.
The elevator made a 'cling' sound and the door opened. He step in, removing his tie and suit on his way to the bedroom when he heard a voice coming from the bedroom.
" that must be Celine", he thought. He walked in only to meet Celine on the bed, naked and fingering herself with her laptop opposite her and angled to where her fingers were.
" this must be a joke", he said to himself. Celine was so lost in pleasure that she didn't realise someone was in.
" What the fuck!!" he shouted.
Frightened, Celine came out of her high and realised what was happening. She reached for the laptop and ended the video chat abruptly and started begging.
"Adam, I'm so sorry, it's not what you think, it's not like that" she cried
" Are you kidding me? I saw you on a video call with a guy naked and you're saying it's not what I think? Get the heck out of my house" He screamed.
"I'm so sorry , please forgive me" Celine kept crying.
"I said, get out of my house now". I don't want to ever see you again. I trusted you, I cared for you, I loved you".
" I'm so sorry, I didn't know what came over me" she begged
Getting frustrated, he called in security to drag her out after making sure she's fully clothed. Celine kept begging and refusing to move until the security eventually carried her out.
Adam has never felt so betrayed and hurt before. He brought out the ring from his pocket and threw it across the room in anger. He needed to take a cold shower as the anger he felt refuses to leave his body. He stripped and sat in the bath tub while he let the water pour on him.
He felt a salty taste with the water as it flows down his head. For the first time in years, he cried.
