"Nigerundayo, Smokey!" The Ryōka yelled as he turned around and started to run away, quickly turning around to enter the streets, and Soifon could only blink and then blink again as her mind tried to process the absurd reality that she had just witnessed. Then her bewilderment turned into rage unlike any she had felt since her master's betrayal, her hatred of the cheeky bastard that had used their whole battle to humiliate her soared to new heights and her self control finally snapped.
"Like hell I'll let you do that!" She yelled as she blasted off after him, ignoring captain Hitsugaya's shout for her to stop, and held her hand ready in a stabbing stance as she reached the corner he had went to.
Only to come face to face with Ryōka, who had a smile on his face that would have looked better on a maniac like Zaraki, right before he slammed into her and then they were in air.
She felt her back connect with a pillar for a moment before another wave of pain erupted as their momentum forced them through the pillar, and then the same thing happened several more times; she wasn't entirely sure how many due to pain and her throbbing head but she could swear that she heard several people yelling her name.
Finally, their momentum slowed down till the latest pillar she impacted wasn't pierced through and she felt the Ryōka finally let her go. After that, there was only darkness.

"What the hell was that?!" Ichigo had to cover his ears in order to protect them from Ganju's yelling but to be perfectly honest, he was actually of the same mind as him.
"...he did say he was going to cause a distraction."
"Making loud noises is distraction! Setting up small explosions or dung bombs is distraction! Fighting a goddamn captain is more than distraction!" He yelled as he latched onto Ichigo's collar and pointed behind as he started shaking the substitute Shinigami. "Look at Hanataro! He's about to die from that ridiculous spiritual pressure your friend was throwing around!" Their former hostage current surprise ally did indeed look like he was about to die, as a matter of fact he was currently passed out on the ground with white eyes and foam coming out of his mouth.
"...he did say that he was the strongest among us." Ichigo muttered to himself. He thought that he kind of understood why Cain had been so confident with the way he so easily killed that giant hollow but he also had thought that he could match the foreigner after his training. He wasn't so sure about that anymore.
"Let's just keep moving." In the end those thoughts were secondary, they were in Soul Society for a reason after all.
"Dude, you can't just say that after that whole shit-fest! Be a little more surprised damn it!"
"We came here to save our friend, not to be surprised. I can be surprised after we save our friend." Ichigo said gruffly with clenched hands and started moving forward while looking at the map that Hanataro had drawn for them. And tried to figure out which symbol meant what cause Hanataro's drawings sucked.

"Hahaha, can't believe that worked." I said to myself as I rested my back against the wall, trying not to laugh at the memory of Soifon's face when I grabbed her and started shooting through walls with her as my battering ram. Though it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.
Now that I had defeated a captain, even if Soifon was on the lower end of combat powers among the captains, the rest of them wouldn't be staying idle. They likely would have their restrictions on using Bankai lifted though that wasn't so bad since I was confident in facing those who used Bankai compared to those who didn't use theirs willy-nilly. Someone like Kyouraku was far more dangerous than Toushiro with his Bankai even without going all out with his Shikai.
No, what concerned me more than something like Bankai was the way their attitude would change. After all, the captain that had been defeated by a lowly Ryōka wasn't Zaraki; the guy that would go easy on others and give them free shots simply to have more fun and therefore could be defeated by those who were very much weaker than himself.
But the captain defeated was Soifon; who while, again, weaker than the other captains was also one of the more serious ones. The kind that would never willingly give her enemies an advantage or screw around in battle. Meaning that the remaining captains would n-know that the one who defeated her, yours truly, was a proper captain level enemy. To which there were two possible reactions.
Reaction Nummer eins, they would decide that I was an outlier among the group and focus their manpower on finding me while mostly ignoring the rest of the group. This was the optimal reaction and the one I deeply hoped for.
Reaction Nummer zwei, they would decide our whole group was too dangerous and just order all the captains to go all out on our asses; ending our little invasion in very little time and likely landing us in either prison or on Kurotsuchi's dissection table. Or as I'd like to call it, 'oh fuck me' reaction.
Well, the only way to make sure that they couldn't choose the latter reaction was to go out and beat up another captain. Just had to decide whether to go after the fun-sized captain or the furry captain or the blind captain.
At least that was what I was trying to decide when suddenly something grabbed my shoulders and dragged me down into the shadows.
