I couldn't sleep.
Sati managed to fall asleep after a while, which was good, but I had too much going on in my head. So, I carried her to bed and helped her get out of her clothes. She was aware enough to tell me where her night things were, so I dressed her. She asked me to lie beside her, so I did, but sleep never came. All I could do after that was hold her.
Oddly, I'm so comfortable doing things like that for her, but it doesn't feel that complicated.
