"Are you seriously trying to kill me?!" I demand, swallowing more water. "What the fuck?!"
"If I wanted you dead, you'd be dead!" Leviathan called down from the top of the waterfall, waving his hand for me to get out of the water. "Come on, let's try it again."
"Are you insane?" I demand, swimming to the shore of the lagoon. "I'm not doing this again!"
"Did I say you had a choice?" He crossed his arms, glaring at me like a king on top of the mountain. "You can come up on your own accord or come up my way. The first lets you keep your dignity. The other doesn't. Your choice."
Leviathan was evil, and that's saying a lot since I've been called that more than once.
