Ivan
I stopped talking.
It's not what I meant to do. My plan had been to get in the front passenger seat and confront Leviathan. I got as far as getting in the front, but I lost my voice the second he climbed in and started the car. There was too much to ask, and I didn't know what to begin with. That just had me thinking about everything, and it became easier to stay silent.
Nefra was in danger, and I could do nothing.
Some would tell me to have faith and let go because I can't do anything. However, it's not in me to relax about something like this. I believe in Nefra and know she'll win, but at what cost? The price of war is always there, and the aftermath isn't something to celebrate. No one comes out clean when their bloodshed is involved.
