"I am going to put this one to bed," Nefera sighed, taking Penelope from me. She'd fallen asleep ages ago, but we'd just sat here while I watched TV. "Then, I am getting in the bath… Are you staying down here?"
"Hell no, I'll be up there with you. At this rate, I'm gonna forget what it is to be an Alpha," I whisper, watching my mate take our baby upstairs. "Though I like takeout night!"
"Don't get used to it!" She called back from the stairs. "Ava complained that the pack's asking when we'll start eating there again!"
I groaned, making her laugh. Of course, the pack was going to complain. It would be asking too much that their Alpha and Luna have dinner on their own every night. It wasn't that I didn't enjoy the time with the others, but this was nice, too, especially with all the magic I kept using. This was the first night I didn't have to worry about heading out. So, could anyone blame me for enjoying some alone time with my family?
