"Stop," Brandon hissed, grabbing me around the waist and pulling me back before I could barge into the room. "Luna! You have to think."
I couldn't do that.
Brandon didn't understand. I knew who that man was and who he worked for. Whatever was going on, we had to stop them. If they were after this family, it could only mean destruction. Was it dangerous to go in there? Yes, but what would come out of this meeting would be far worse.
"Let go," I growled, struggling against him. "We have to get in there before they sign anything."
"Shh," He covered my mouth and pulled me back into the room. We were across the hall from Miranda and Caroline, but the door suddenly opened, and someone stepped into the hall.
