Magic.
My relationship with the word has evolved within the strange reality called my life, but yet again, it's managed to complicate things. Here I am without any access to basic power, and my brother, who is psychologically damaged, and my infant daughter, who doesn't understand that magic isn't a toy, decide to access it like it's candy they found on a counter. I can't stop what they're doing. The only thing I can do is sense their intention, and that's because Dylan isn't hiding it from me. I didn't hear what he said to Ivan, but his magic screamed at me like he couldn't lower the volume.
