Nefretiri
We slowly turned to face the small crowd staring at us from the doorway.
It couldn't be much worse than it was. We were still grabbing each other's hair, and I had my other hand pulling on the side of Odie's mouth while Odie was practically lying on top of me. I wish I could say we did the mature thing, let go, but that's not what we did. Instead, we continued to stay in our position, staring at everyone with false innocence.
"What are you two doing?" Vince asked, talking to us like we were two.
"Nothing," The both of us answered at the same time, though Odie's answer came out muffled since I still held onto her mouth.
"Nefera?" Ivan crossed his arms, giving me a stern look, but I swear he was trying not to laugh. "Let go of Cabe's mouth."
"Okay," I mutter, my cheeks so red they could substitute a stop sign. Then, slowly I pulled that hand away, releasing Odie's face.
