"I told you. All the exits are blocked." We were back in the hallway, and I was looking for a way outside.
"Luke found a way out," He was nowhere to be found. Luke isn't the kind of man who runs from a fight. We would've seen him at one of the doors or windows if he couldn't get out, but no one had seen him since he'd run off. "They can't have every window covered."
It was the only explanation I could think of. This building was set up like a community center. Andrea said they had a front and back entrance and two side doors for emergencies. She couldn't tell me how many windows they had, but I'd counted over twenty. Ezekiel wouldn't have known to bring that many wolves and Wendigo unless someone inside Caesar's pack gave him the schematics. I didn't want to think about that. This could only mean some Wendigo we'd seen weren't staying put. They must be patrolling the area, checking for anyone who ran out.
