"Zaya, don't bite your uncle," Pulling my daughter away from Vishnu's jaw, I laugh when she whines in protest. "He'll bite you back."
Refusing to listen to me, my rebellious pup squirms out of my arms, landing on her side, and army crawls back to her uncle's head. Once she's close enough, she rolls onto her back and uses her front paws to grab and pull him toward her. For his part, Vishnu doesn't fight her. Instead, he allows his niece to have fun until she tries to bite him again. Then he uses his paw to squish her to the floor. With a yelp of surprise, Zaya wiggles and squirms but fails to free herself from the giant paw.
"I told you he'd fight back," She needed to learn that, for the moment, she wasn't the biggest or baddest wolf around, and that knowledge didn't make her happy.
