Nefretiri
I hadn't meant to go far. At first, it was Pen-Pen, Remy, and me walking up and down the training field, waiting for Ivan to show up. I'd put the snuggly on, feeling more comfortable with Penelope in it than having to walk and hold her. She seemed content, and Remy kept hold of my hand, telling me things I could only half understand. I was sure if I had Zoe and Millie with me, they'd beg me to get the stroller so they could push Pen-Pen and do laps with me.
Honestly, I was glad my little friends weren't here today. They'd been through enough with me, and I didn't want to associate hanging out with me and bad things happening. Ivan might want to leave right after he got here, but I don't think our family outing was going to work out.
