Ivan pulls into a driveway, and I see Steven's car parked along with two others. They must be Sierra and Randy's.
"We're here," He cuts the engine off. "Are you ready?"
Staring at the beautiful red brick house. I take several deep breaths before nodding.
"Yeah," I manage a weak smile.
"It's just family," He reminds me. "No one else."
Nodding, I follow him out of the truck.
The large house was away from the center of town. Manitou springs were what we called a bedroom community. Most of the residents worked in a nearby city and lived out here.
It was quiet, and so much forest and mountain area. The hum of magic came from everywhere, tugging at me welcomingly.
As if it were trying to speak to me.
"You alright?" Ivan frowns at the look on my face.
"This doesn't feel new," I confess. "It feels familiar."
My mate grins and wraps an arm around my waist before leading me to the front door.
