"Luna?" a voice whispered in my ear.
"Hmm." I nuzzle into Ivan's chest, unwilling to wake up. I'd gone to bed far too late.
Taylor, Steven, and Luke came up, returning Penelope to me and bringing us a feast for dinner. They didn't know what I liked, so they ordered everything on the menu, from baked goat cheese to homemade tiramisu. We'd eaten all of it between the five of us. They hadn't left until after one in the morning. I was fast asleep when Ivan returned from taking Pen-Pen to the nursery.
It was the best sleep I've had in a long time. No dreams. No nightmare. I didn't have to get up earlier than I wanted, and no females stood over me. The cherry on top was the warm, hot guy who insisted on curling up with me.
"Luna, wake up!" the voice says again. In response, I groan, telling myself I have no reason to get up so early. There's no husband or female to tell me what to do. "Luna, you have to get up!"
I stand corrected.
