"I don't like this," Odie scowled, staring at the numbers again. "I really don't like this."
"They're better than earlier," I protested, confused about her unease. "It's normal, isn't it?"
"Yeah, that's what worries me," she pulled the pressure cuff off my arm, staring at me like she was afraid I'd break. "You went from 178/115 to 128/82."
"And?" I didn't get it. That's what everyone wanted. I felt fine and had for hours. I'd even managed to get a few hours of sleep.
"It's... too fast," she insisted, the look on her face telling me she wanted to rerun the test for the fifth time. "It isn't good for you for it to drop that hard."
"But I'm fine," I tried to stand up, but Odie put her hand on my shoulder, refusing to let me up. I feel normal again. I'm still fat, but that's not going away."
