"Where are you staying?" Sati asked Leviathan when we met him at the gates.
"The main hotel," Leviathan pointed to a sizeable magenta-colored building on the other side of the gates. On the eighth floor."
"Alright," nodding, Sati turned to me, and I had a bad feeling. "Then… I'll see you tomorrow. I'll meet you in front of the hotel."
"What?" I grabbed her arm before she could move.
The hour-long break had turned into an overnight recess. This wasn't because of Campé. The angels had requested it, and I didn't like that. What were they planning? I didn't know, but it meant we were free until the morning. However, I didn't expect Sati to want to leave.
"I have to go home…" she explained, but I refused to let her go. "Iggy is there and… I have to work until we're summoned."
"You owe a debt, don't you?" Leviathan mused, nodding like all of that made sense. "I'll talk to the hall. See who you owe and if we can settle it."
