I'm not scared of flying.
As a Marine, I would've had a hard time if I couldn't handle it. I could travel in planes and helicopters without an issue. It was airports that I had a problem with. It didn't matter if they were rural, international hubs, or military hangers; they freaked me out. That's not to say I won't go inside if I have to, but I've avoided them as much as possible. Now I know the reason for that phobia, but it doesn't make it easier. Unfortunately, I've been to three of them today.
