"I am not comfortable with this," George muttered, taking the vial of blood and handing it to Nefera. "You're not in any condition to be walking, let alone magic."
"I'll be okay," Brody shrugged, unfazed by the stick to his arm. "I can handle it."
"Here," Nefera handed him a glass of pink liquid with little leaves. "Drink that."
"What is it?" He frowned, looking at the drink suspiciously.
"Pink lemonade and some herbs," She tried smiling, but the situation worried her. "It'll help boost your vitamins a little."
"I can take care of myself," He muttered but sipped on the liquid cautiously. Then, we watched his eyes widen as the taste hit his tongue, and he eagerly drank the rest. "But… thank you."
