"He's coming to," Duke muttered as I felt someone moving me. "Alpha? Can you hear me?"
"Yeah," My mouth felt like it was full of cotton, and I had a cramp in my calves. "How long was I out?"
"Just a couple of minutes," He grunted, and I realized he and another of my wolves were carrying me. "Sorry, we didn't think you'd want us to wait for you to wake up to get moving. The witch says we need to get inside by dawn."
"It's Craig," The witch in question called behind him, looking irritated. "And we do need to get to the building by then. After dawn, the magic in this place won't have any holes."
"I can walk," I muttered, feeling coming back to my legs. "How far did we get?"
"It's slow work," Duke sighed, looking at the trees. "Craig… found seven traps already, and we've barely started. "At this rate, it'll take us most of the night to get halfway through."
