"You're telling everyone tomorrow? Right?" Taylor barged into the office, a frustrated scowl on her face. "Because I can't keep that big a secret."
I looked away from Pen-Pen. She'd woken up almost the second we came in and hadn't stopped crying until I started nursing her. Now she was on the second side, draining every drop of milk I had like she had the first breast. The magic we'd used downstairs had been more than Pen-Pen ever used. Sleeping it off wouldn't be enough this time. Dylan was hungry too, but he had better control.
However, Ivan wouldn't be happy to find his stash of jerky and chips had been ransacked and devoured.
"Yeah, why?" I winced as my daughter continued eating, determined to sate the unfamiliar hunger she'd never experienced. "How bad is it down there?"
"He's letting her have it," With a grin, Tay shut the door and sat beside me. "I haven't seen him that mad in a while."
