"Oh, thank the goddess, she's awake," Sierra breathes when my eyes snap open.
"No!" I groan, covering my face. "I didn't want to wake up yet!"
"Nefera, are you okay?" Ivan pulls my hands away, his face drawn in with worry. "What's wrong?"
Glancing around the room. Brandon was holding Penelope, rocking her to keep her calm. Danny was above me, and since he was the paramedic, he ensured I wasn't dying. Luke was crouching beside Ivan, a hand on his friend's shoulder.
Steven and Vincent were holding the others back from getting closer.
"How long was I asleep?" I ask, slowly sitting up.
"Two minutes," Danny sighs. "And I think that's what you were doing. So let me check you out."
"I'm fine," I mumble, trying to stand, but Ivan sets his hands on me and pushes me back down on the couch. "Ivan, I'm okay."
"Ivan, maybe you should take her upstairs to get some rest," Ava suggests.
