"Enough!" I growl angrily, cutting off elder David before he can speak again. "This discussion ends now!"
"But Alpha," Ben crosses his arms. "What am I supposed to do if he calls back?"
"Tell him to go fuck himself," I growl in annoyance. "I've told you already that we're not dealing with him anymore."
Ben doesn't look happy about that, but I growl in warning, and he tilts his neck in submission.
"Yes, Alpha," He mumbles under his breath.
I know what they're all thinking. They can't understand how I allowed this to happen. Ben was doing his job, and he was good at it. He'd looked at the numbers, and it was clear that we were dangerously underfunded without that account.
"Alpha," Elder David growls harshly. "You're going to have to set this right."
"No," I glared at him. He might be on the council, but I was Alpha. I knew what I was doing and wouldn't regret what I'd chosen to do.
