"I have one question for Lily." Yui raises her hand. Her other hand is still covering her big sister's mouth.
Lily replies with: "I'm listening." It seems she has been waiting for this.
"How did Sam use your magic?" Yui's eyes look sharp.
"Mmfhhm!" Says Yuno. "Mmmffhhmfm!!!"
"She says she wants to ask the same thing, isn't that right, Yuno?" Yui decides to be the interpreter for her big sister.
"Mmmm!" Yuno nods.
"I would like to understand that as well." The nurse also gleams at Lily.
"We have never seen Sam using Light Element before. He has practiced them in the past, but to be able to use them to the level of today, is practically impossible, isn't it?"
Yui stops for a second to remember the detail and continues.
"He made a Tier 2 Creation Magic Spell! We all know he is capable as his mental power has always been strong. However. First: Where did he get the mana to perform Thunderstrike at 5 people at once. And second: Where did he get the Light Affinity needed to do it? Two Creation Magic spells simultaneously! It was like two people were creating two different spells at the same time and then combined them! It was like you were there to help him with it!!"
"Yui, ..." Lily exhales deeply. "I would like to know that as well."
"She's not lying." The nurse looks closely at the girl in the facemask.
The girls do not have an issue with that sentence. Strangely, they all believe the nurse.
"I would like Sam to use my powers, too. This is not fair!" Yui looks a little uncomfortable.
Her sister keeps on nodding to her words.
"Mmmm hmmm."
"You should share whatever you know, Lily. This is only good for him, not us. He struggles with his affinities all the time. What did you do to him, to yourself, everything? We need to hear it. Please." The nurse asks.
Lily sighs. It is not like she does not want Sam to be stronger, or she wants to keep it to herself. She would do anything if it means Sam gets his final purpose. Her selfishness is towards his feelings alone, not his future.
"Let's talk about that day in the garden."
Lily then proceeds to tell her point of view on that day. From the moment of Sam's rejection to his bow to the Goddess's statue, every single detail is then told.
"Once I got there, I used my handkerchief to soak up the blood from his hand and put it in a ziplock bag. After bowing once to the statue, I followed Sam as he went back home."
"We did the same! Right, Yuno? But you took all of his blood. There was hardly anything left for us."
"Mmm-hmmm!"
"I did the same. Basic respect towards her is needed. She is our Goddess, after all. That woman and her disgusting boyfriend did not, though." The nurse says.
"They don't have any kind of integrity, do they? Doesn't matter! What matters most now is helping Sam gets stronger. How did you do it? Tell us now or we will ask Nycta to get it out."
"But I truly do not know! What I can tell you is that since then when Sam used Thunderstrike, I felt my mana being drained. I felt like he was somehow asking for my help and I just let myself go to lend my strength to him."
"So he says his thanks because of that? Lily, you do know that sounds ridiculous, right?" Yui is doubtful.
The nurse stays silent at this point. She is thinking about something.
"There is no way for a spell conjured by someone that will use the mana of someone else. That is just the basics of magic. Unless you are bound by blood like me and Yuno."
Identical twins such as Yui and Yuno have a special connection between them. Being born from the same egg and sperm from their parents, the two people in a pair of twins can have a blood bond, or be blood bound. They can sense the other twin no matter how far in between they are, and even the status of the other twin or their feelings and thoughts.
Moreover, they can share the mana pool. This is something that only Identical Twins can have. Fraternal twins will not have this type of ability.
Thanks to this connection, when their minds were fused by Nycta, they became a powerful entity, with the mana of two people and the combined affinity of both.
At this point, Lily remembers one crucial aspect.
"I force-fed him my blood." Lily says. "And I consumed his blood, too."
"You don't get the blood bind by doing that. It needs to be connected both physically and mentally." Yui shakes her head.
"It is not as simple as giving out blood and drinking it. You simply can not understand the bond between Yuno and me."
"What would you think if I say I can also use his spells?"
"That's impossible. It's illogical. It should not even exist."
"Then take a look."
Lily takes out her hands. On one hand, the wind starts to gather, on the other one is fire. Then, they start to get closer. Slowly, but surely, they blend, creating an orb of fire that is orange in color. Extreme heatwaves spread out from it.

Sam's Fire Creation Magic: Fire Bomb.
The girls are stunned. They are completely speechless.
"When did you start practicing Fire Magic? You don't have the affinity for it!" Yui just can't believe her eyes.
"This is the first time for me to use his Fire Bomb. It feels really potent. Much more so than my Laser Beam." She dispels the magic. "Not only I can sense Fire Element better, I can feel every element better but just a very slight improvement. It needs some experiment but I do believe I can try out various spells now."
"But how? I just don't understand. You need to be connected both mind and body. Let's just say the blood gave you the connection to his body. What about the mind?"
Yui stops.
Her eyes change. A dark vortex starts to appear in her eyes.
Yuno also behaves the same way.
"Does this mean he has feelings for you already?!"
*Whoosh* *Clink clank*
Around the twins, the wind starts to gather, making their hairs stand up. Around the room, lightweight objects start to fly in circles as the wind blows on them.
Under the huge gust of wind, Lily's lab coat flutters. Her face feels like she is being punched constantly by the sheer force of the wind.
"So what?" She replies coldly. "Let's take this outside, then!" Orbs of Light start appearing surrounding Lily.
""It looks like we should have shown you your place a long time ago!!""
The nurse steps in.
From both of her arms, a black mist manifests. Like a flash of darkness, it cuts through the air, entering the heads of Lily and the twins.
Void Magic: Mind Control.
"That's enough! Sam is still sleeping!"
She is not trying to get a hold of the heads. Instead, she just wants them to calm down.
As the black mist enters their minds, the girls feel a sense of dread that is extremely cold. It is as if they were put in a freezer while being tired up.
"Killing each other is fine, just don't do it when he is still present!"
"Sam is not in love with Lily. That's for sure. You are still too naive, Yui. Have some faith in him!"
The twins calm down. Their hairs start to settle and the objects fly back to where they came from.
"Sorry." She looks down.
"Regarding the blood bind, it does not hurt to try, right?" The nurse suggests.
"Well yeah,..." Yui looks at Sam's sleeping body.
"Then let's do it. Let's waste no time. We have a lot to do in the next couple of days. Bianca is still waiting for us."
"How are we supposed to feed him while being unconscious?" Yui asks.
"Mmmffhhmfm!!" Yuno points at her mouth which is still being covered.
"With our mouths? It's...it's a little embarrassing!!" Yui turns red.
Yuno looks at her smaller sister with a look that clearly says: "Pathetic."
Wind Magic: Wind Blade.
Yuno cuts a piece of her index finger and sucks on the wound. Immediately, a warm liquid that smells of iron comes out and fills a bit of her mouth. Then, Yuno climbs on the bed with a face that looks like a chipmunk. Making her way towards his face, trying not to press on him too much, Yuno kisses Sam.
The blood inside her mouth is quickly transferred to his.
In his dreams, Sam swallows the liquid.
"See! That's how you do it!" Yuno proudly says after everything is said and done. "Your turn."
With the face redder than wine, Yui does the same thing as her bigger sister.
""Now, we're finally even to you Lily!!""
Lily does not pay the twins any attention. Rather, she looks at the nurse.
"When are you going to do it?"
The nurse does not reply.
"You can not be like this forever, you know."
"..."
"If you are not expressing your true feelings, then he will be taken away. Again. This time it will be one of us."
"Or two!" Yuno joins in. "You never know!"
Lily once more pays them no mind.
"That is what happened to Sam. That is what happened to you. To all of us! When are you going to realize that?"
"How am I supposed to see him? What am I supposed to talk to him? Unlike you girls who have been on his side, I have always been the side character! Do you know how many years he ignored me? 12! 12 fucking years! Just because he met that whore! He threw ME away! I WAS his true childhood friend! Not her!"
"Have you ever tried to? Or you just looked at him from the side?"
"I did not know what to do, okay! My heart gets weird whenever I see him! I can't think straight!"
"Then can't you see it's not him, but it's you who has an issue?"
The nurse is already crying at this point.
"What does he gain from a blind, cursed girl? You don't know me! You didn't live my life. Just shut up for Goddess sake! I'll do it when I am ready!"
Lily stops asking questions.
"You know, Nycta."
The nurse stays silent. She quietly sobs to herself.
"You maybe are the strongest, most terrifying magic user I have ever known, ..."
"But you will never, ever beat us when it comes to Sam."
"We'll see about that!" The nurse argues.
"Do you know why?"
"SHUT IT!"
"Because you don't even love yourself!"
