"Thanks for letting us join your group, Cloud-san" - said Belta with a small smile.
"You don't have to thank me, besides, I'm sure that pervert would have followed us even if I told her no" - Cloud replied while ignoring the look the said pervert was giving him.
"Oh ~! This cruel feeling of being ignored is fantastic ~!" - Lyutillis exclaimed while breathing heavily.
"Do you think it's a good idea to leave her tied up in some nearby human settlement?" - Cloud asked in desperation.
"I don't think it's a good idea, besides, I'm sure some ropes won't be enough to stop Lyu-chan" - replied Belta while looking regretfully at the leader of the group.
Two hours had passed since Cloud had released Lyutillis Haltina from her prison, time in which the elven queen had used to modify some floors of her labyrinth to make them habitable for her people and compatriots.
After making sure everything was in perfect condition, the group obtained the magic of the labyrinth, the broken ability known as [Evolution Magic], which consisted of being able to evolve any form of power to the limit, be they weak or strong.
Cloud was surprised to see that this [SSS] rank ability had appeared so early, although he understood that it was restricted directly to the world level, in other words, he couldn't simply evolve his powers to the level of destroying the universe with just one technique, even though this should be possible thanks to the description of the ability.
The other thing that surprised the blond was that the more powerful the technique, the simpler the description, as well as the way to use it. For example, the maximum evolution of an element, was not an insane amount of magics, but rather the direct manipulation of said element to make it take the form you wanted, in other words, the [Evolution Magic], allowed the user to be as close as possible to the "authorities" of the gods.
"By the way, I thank you for sending a message to Verbergen with the proofs of the other labyrinths so that they can enter my creation" - said Lyutillis with a polite expression that showed her training as part of the elven royalty.
"It is a promise I made to Ulfric despite his actions" - Cloud replied with a frown - "I suppose you follow us because you also want to know about Yggdrasil?"
"That's part of the reason, but not all of it" - Lyutillis replied as she asked if she could sit next to him.
Cloud nodded calmly as he noticed how the others prepared to set up camp.
After using the magic circle in the final room, the group appeared at the edge of the sea of trees.
"By the blessing you have, I'm sure you've heard some of my clan's traditions" - Lyutillis said as she looked in the direction of the sky with a smile, after all, it had been centuries since she last saw the nature of the world she had tried to save.
"Yes, and that's why I've accepted you so easily" - Cloud answered reluctantly. Having Celestine as a mate had taught him many things, such as the fact that the elves were a race that strived to maintain their pride, that's why when they gave their first time to a person of the opposite sex, they accepted that person as their life partner, although obviously there were cases where this didn't happen and the elves made a huge effort to eliminate that person, although this ended up with them being banished.
Lyutillis smiled slightly, though she didn't act smarmy with the blond despite basically being a couple after what had happened in the amber of the great tree - "Getting back to the point of your question, that's the second reason I wanted to come with you, though there's another much more important one."
"And what's that one?" - Cloud asked with slight curiosity, after all, it was strange to see this elf acting so calmly after all the perverted things she had done during the last hour.
"That... Is a secret ~" - Lyutillis replied as she walked over to the others so she could help them.
Cloud shook his head as he decided to leave this for another time, after all, he was sure she would tell him this reason when the time was right.

"Everyone inside, we have a lot of work to do!" - Ulfric exclaimed as he took a long sigh.
The inhabitants of Verbergen were a bit skeptical about the idea of rebuilding their kingdom inside the great labyrinth, though they quickly accepted the reality that this would be the safest place.
Ulfric was also a bit worried, although Cloud's letter informed him that the labyrinth was now much safer, in fact, the monsters had been configured not to attack elves or other non-human species that had been under the command of the former kingdom of Elfenheim, or at least that was the case in the first 3 floors, after these, the tests would be the same for everyone, which meant that the inhabitants of Verbergen would not be able to get the magic of Lyutillis so easily.
"Let's hope things will be just as the letter says, or our death will be near" - Mao said while shaking her head.
"As I told our civilians, this is our only chance to survive" - Ulfric replied with a cold expression.
"It's better we think about that for another time, we already accepted our destiny, so it's better we keep moving forward without looking back, this is a new opportunity for us and our descendants" - said Guze as he looked at the young dwarves that made up the new generation of his clan - "We just have to create the path so they can advance as much as possible".
"The inhabitants of Verbergen are strong, none of them will lose hope after surviving the demons" - Ulfric said as he watched his granddaughter enter the labyrinth along with a squad of elven warriors - "I'll see to it."

The group continued moving forward until they reached the shore, from there they quickly headed in the direction of Erisen.
"It's good to be back home" - Remia said with a small smile as she felt the loving embrace of the sea against her skin.
"A race, mom!" - Myu exclaimed as she jumped into the water and swam at full speed.
"This girl" - muttered Remia as she shook her head before chasing after her daughter.
"This brings back so many memories" - Lyutillis said as she slowly closed her eyes at the sound of the mother and daughter's laughter.
"Meiru and Diene, right?" - Belta said as she smiled slightly because it was great to be able to spend time without having to worry about plotting the downfall of a mad god.
"Yes, the two of them always acted like that after finishing a long mission on land" - replied Lyutillis while shaking his head - "I guess it's impossible to separate a Dagon from the sea".
"Well, it's part of their essence" - nodded Belta while letting out a sigh.
The group continued to move forward in silence, until they heard the sound of a huge explosion in the direction where Myu and Remia were.
Cloud quickly shot out to see what was happening, only to see how a group of human men were unconscious while Remia was covering her daughter.
It was obvious what had happened, these men had tried to attack the duo to capture them, otherwise there was no way Remia would have attacked first.
"Are you okay?" - Cloud asked as he walked over to the upset mother.
"Y-Yes..." - Remia replied haltingly, mostly because she could still feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins.
"This is why many races hate humans" - Lyutillis snorted as she looked at Belta regretfully - "I'm sorry for expressing myself like that, but it's my honest opinion"
"You don't have to apologize, I am aware of how cruel humanity can be" - Belta replied as she shook her head, though that didn't mean she wasn't worried about the state of these strangers. She quickly ran to the unconscious men and checked their pulses, only to let out a sigh of relief when she saw that they were still alive.
Remia also let out a sigh of relief, after all, this was possibly the first time she would kill someone, and she knew she wasn't ready for the pressure, but that didn't mean she wouldn't do it if strangers endangered her baby.
Cloud hugged mother and daughter as he felt Remia's body stop shaking.
"I'm sorry" - Remia murmured with difficulty - "I... I'm glad I didn't kill them..."
"That's good, Remia" - Cloud replied quietly - "That means you're still the same kind and caring person you were when we first met, and I hope you'll stay that way for a long time, after all, Myu-chan needs someone like you in her life."
Remia nodded with a small smile on her lips before sinking her head into her beloved husband's chest.
