"Such looks like they made the right decision, at least from our perspective" - Cloud said as he watched the harpies and half of Verbergen's army prepare for the evacuation of its inhabitants, as well as that of the materials needed to be able to survive while they built homes in their new location.
"What are we going to do now?" - Tio asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"It's simple, I want you to do me a favor" - Cloud replied with a small smile - "But first, I want you to tell me how good you are with your mana thread spell."
"Expert" - Tio replied as she averted her gaze with a slight blush on her cheeks - "For reasons..."
Cloud gave her a blank look because he should have expected this answer - "Ok, I want you to capture all the troublesome bastards and use a seal so I can keep them quiet."
"What are you going to do with them?" - Tio asked as she frowned.
"It's simple, I'll turn them into heroes" - Cloud replied with a huge grin.
"Oh, I see" - muttered Tio as she nodded when she understood what the blond would do with them - "I guess it's a dignified end for those traitors, at least with this they won't be remembered for their evil deeds."
Cloud shook his head because he honestly couldn't care less about Verbergen's situation. He quickly pulled out his orb and contacted Yue to do the same as Tio, then contact Cattleya.
"I didn't expect you to contact me so soon."
"Well, we still have some things to plan" - Cloud replied as he shrugged - "I'm already preparing my martyrs."
"Good to hear, my armies are in position..."
"Give me 30 minutes and it will be all set for phase two of the plan" - Cloud said calmly.
"Ok... Nice doing business with you..."
"Same here" - nodded Cloud before cutting the call.
"Oh... I was forgetting, be careful with Freid, he's someone different from the last time you saw him..."
"¿?" - Cloud frowned when he heard this, though he quickly decided to leave this for another time, he now had a few details to iron out in his plan, as well as think about his next move, though seeing how cooperative Ulfric was being, things would be a lot easier from now on.
"Though it's a problem that he won't be retiring with the other sages" - Cloud muttered as he narrowed his eyes - "Will he also have to become a 'sacrifice to the cause'?"
Cloud was silent for a few seconds before he felt the communication sphere glow slightly - "Yes?"
"The Haulia clan members have returned and are waiting for you, Cloud..."
"Oh, thank you, Yue" - smiled Cloud as he dusted off his clothes and jumped off the roof before running in the direction of the warrior rabbit tribe's camp.

"Strange, everything is too quiet" - said Ulfric with a frown. He could already walk on his own and his pale face had returned to normal, proving that his mana deficit was no longer so severe - "What happened to all the traitors?"
"We don't know, my lord" - replied a harpy while shaking his head.
"Was this Cloud's work, or did they leave of their own free will?" - Ulfric muttered while shaking his head - "Never mind, this makes our job easier, now we just have to concentrate on rescuing the straggling civilians and sending them to the pickup point."
"Mr. Ulfric, it is best that you also retreat with the civilians, we can take care of the defenses" - said a bear man as he looked at his leader - "I know you want to give us the courage to move on, but that is not necessary, we are proud inhabitants of Verbergen, our will is as strong as the sacred tree."
Ulfric smiled slightly before shaking his head - "I know, but this is necessary."
"My lord, I share my Kurokuma's opinion" - said a fox man while looking at the leader of the elves - "If you are with us on the battlefield, our concentration will be divided because we will have to protect you constantly..."
Akatsu is right" - nodded Kurokuma as he looked at the leader of the elves - "That's why we kindly ask you to leave when we finish evacuating the civilians."
Ulfric frowned before letting out a sigh and nodding when he saw the look on his subordinates' faces - "I understand, I'll heed them..."
"Thank you!" - The soldiers exclaimed before getting back to work.
Ulfric sighed again because it was quite obvious that these brave soldiers would be martyrs seeing the general situation in Verbergen. He was sure that even with Cloud's help, the casualties of his soldiers would still be catastrophic, although there was one thing he could be sure of, and that was that these brave men and women, are going to be remembered in the annals of Verbergen's history.

"Cloud-sama!" - Kam exclaimed after seeing his master appear in his clan's camp.
"Hello, Kam" - nodded Cloud calmly before looking at all the squad leaders - "We'll talk more calmly later, right now I have something to tell you."
The warrior rabbits looked at each other before nodding.
"The situation is simple, Verbergen is about to fall, and there's not much we can do about it" - Cloud said seriously.
Kam and the other members of the Haulia clan looked at each other, surprised by the blond's words.
"Is this true?" - Kam asked with a cold face.
"I gain nothing by lying to them" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "That's why I've made the decision to help the inhabitants of Verbergen evacuate to the big tree, the safest place that is in the area."
"I see" - nodded Kam before letting out a sigh. It wasn't that Cloud had decided to abandon Verbergen, but that he had decided to help the survivors - "I see, I guess now you want us to help with the protection of the civilians?"
"Exactly, Ulfric has to be looking for the straggling survivors right now, that's why I want you to do the same" - Cloud replied as he nodded.
"What about the demons, who will take care of the defenses?" - Asked the leader of the first squad.
"Relax, I already have it planned" - answered Cloud calmly.
The warrior rabbits looked at each other before nodding. If Cloud said that everything was under control, then they would believe him, after all, the blond hadn't failed them so far, and this won't be the first time it happened.
"Understood, my lord" - replied the rabbits as they went to do their job, leaving only Cloud, Kam, Mona and the girls.
"Cloud-sama, I didn't find any "unruly" during my return trip" - Kam said with a frown - "Did you take care of them already?"
"You could say so" - nodded Cloud calmly as he watched Tio and Yue nodding in his direction.
"I understand" - nodded Kam, who quickly walked to his wife - "Are you okay?"
"Yes, nothing out of the ordinary happened" - smiled Mona with a weak smile.
Kam smiled seeing that his wife was in perfect condition before looking at Cloud - "Shall I go too?"
"No, you'll be among the first to go with the survivors" - answered Cloud calmly as he looked at Mona - "After all, we can't let your wife go alone, can we?"
"Thank you" - muttered Kam as he took his wife's hand. He was now a bit calmer because even if he didn't want to admit it, it was quite possible that there were traitors among the survivors they were going to escort, and if that happened, there was a small chance that his wife would be in danger.
"Ok, you can start with the preparations" - Cloud said as he watched Kam withdraw with his wife.
"I guess it's time for us to start with our preparations, though I honestly have no idea what we'll do" - Yue said as she raised an eyebrow.
"It's simple, we'll just defend ourselves together with our... allies..." - Cloud replied while stressing the word "allies".
"Allies?" - Shea repeated in surprise.
"Exactly, allies" - nodded Cloud.
Shea frowned because the blond didn't seem to want to talk about it.
"Are we all going to stay and fight?" - Kaori asked as she looked at her best friend.
"Myu and Remia will go with the survivors," Cloud replied calmly.
"No! I want to fight!" - Myu exclaimed with a frown.
"Listen, this isn't fighting monsters, this is a war and we can't allow you to be in danger" - said Cloud as he walked over to the little light blue-haired girl and stroked her head - "I know you want to be with us, but this isn't the time, besides, we don't want you exposed to the horrors of war."
"Horrors?" - Myu repeated as she looked at her dad in surprise - "Are they going to do something bad?"
"War is bad, Myu" - said Remia as she hugged her daughter - "It's not something that someone your age should see."
"Ok..." - Myu muttered as she ducked her head.
