After remodeling the place a bit and making sure the dirt didn't dirty the crystal clear water of the oasis, Cloud and the others went to a hotel because they didn't want their actions to hunt Bize or the duchy.
"I'm sorry" - Shea said as she apologized for the tenth time during the last few minutes.
"What's done is done, no need to cry over spilled milk" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "Although now we won't be able to stay long in this city because we would cause trouble."
"It's better this way" - Remia said with a smile - "If I'm honest, I'm not very comfortable with this place because of my biology, not to mention that Myu-chan is starting to sweat because of the increasing heat."
"I think the same, we just came to get some supplies for the trip and to check the state of the water, and now that we've accomplished that, it's time to leave" - Cloud replied as he nodded.
The girls nodded when they heard this as Shea let out a sigh of relief, though she let out a cry of surprise and pain when she felt a sharp tug on her ears - "Itai!"
"That's for disregarding my words" - Cloud said as he shook his head.
"I thought you forgave me" - Shea replied with tears in her eyes as the blond continued tugging on her delicate ears.
"I did, but that doesn't mean I don't have to punish you" - Cloud replied as he narrowed his eyes.
"Punishment ~?" - smiled Shea with a seductive tone, only to start screaming again - "Sorry!"
"Seriously" - muttered Cloud as he looked at all the girls. He had a serious problem with nymphomaniac girls, and it was something that seemed to be haunting him from the beginning because they were all the same, he was even starting to worry about the future.
"What are you thinking, Cloud?" - Yue asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"On nothing" - Cloud answered with a smile, although inside, he could hear Saya telling him something like "you caused it, you fix it."

A few hours later, Cloud's group was leaving the city and heading towards their new destination, though to get there they would have to travel through many other cities possibly ending up in trouble.
"Wasn't the best first impression of a human city, was it?" - Kaori said as she looked at Remia.
"If I'm honest, I was expecting something much worse" - Remia replied while shaking her head - "Something like people trying to kidnap us, or at least trying to buy us off."
"Oh, I understand what you're trying to say, if that happened to me" - Shea replied with a frown - "It won't happen now though, and don't worry about anything, while you're training, I'll take care of Myu-chan."
"Yay ~! Shea Onee-chan ~!" - Myu exclaimed with a huge smile.
"Sorry, but when Remia is training with Yue and Tio, I'm going to be training Myu-chan to use my less-lethal weapons" - Cloud replied seriously.
"Huh?" - this surprised the girls because they didn't expect this kind of answer.
"What? There will be times where our attention will be elsewhere for different reasons, so we'll have to make sure Myu-chan has some way to defend herself or incapacitate her enemies" - Cloud replied as he showed them the blueprints of a new invention he was creating using the barriers, the drones and some references from the stories he had seen in the past - "This is Aegis Mk-2, a group of drones with the ability to create high containment barriers."
"How safe?" - Remia asked with surprise and happiness because it was obvious that Cloud had been thinking about how to keep his daughter safe.
"According to my calculations before their creation, each barrier could withstand a serious hit from Shea" - Cloud replied as he stopped the vehicle to better explain the situation of his new project - "These drones have the ability to create 9 independent barriers, although he still didn't manage to think of how to superimpose them over the other to create a superior barrier."
"Question, do they break with a punch?" - Tio asked as she raised an eyebrow because there were two types of barriers, ones that would hold up to taking a certain level of damage, and others that would break after taking a hit, but possessed a much higher level of resistance.
"They can withstand multiple hits" - Cloud replied calmly - "Although I need to do a lot of testing in order to improve the defensive capability."
"That's a good start, Cloud" - replied Yue while nodding - "My barriers can barely hold up after a serious hit from Shea."
"Ehe ~" - Shea smiled sheepishly as she scratched her cheek.
"Putting that aside, we'd better get on with our journey because something tells me things are going to be annoying from now on" - Cloud said as he sighed regretfully.
"I don't think so, I mean, we haven't seen anything since we left the city" - Shea replied while tilting her head - "I'm sure everything will be fine."

"You were saying?" - Cloud asked as he watched a caravan being attacked by what appeared to be a group of desert thieves.
"Ehe ~" - Shea stuck her tongue out tenderly as the others gave her a blank stare - "Ok, sorry, I should have known Cloud's bad luck wouldn't let us have a peaceful trip."
"Sorry?" - Cloud said with a frown.
"Do you want me to summarize everything that's happened to you since you appeared in this world?" - Shea asked as she gave him a challenging look.
"She has a point, Cloud," Yue said as he nodded calmly.
"Oh, come on, I'm not the only one with bad luck, everyone here is a joke of fate" - replied Cloud with irritation - "Yeah, my luck is crap, but you guys have no right to talk, miss vampire who was locked up for hundreds of years, and rabbit girl who lived a life of misfortune for being born into a weak race and having powers she didn't understand"
The two girls averted their gazes as Tio laughed lightly.
"Do you want me to go on with you, you masochistic dragoness?" - Cloud asked neutrally.
"Ahem! Sorry" - Tio replied as she averted her gaze, though if she was honest, a part of her wanted him to insult her.
"Back to the point, each of us is a basket case if we're talking about bad luck" - Cloud said as he looked at each of them who seemed to have had a huge amount of bad coincidences to get here. Yes, it had all worked out in the end, but that didn't change that it had all started because of bad luck.
"Though it's fortunate that we're all together in this situation of..." - Cloud continued, though he stopped when he saw Myu - "This bad situation..."
Remia smiled slightly at the blond's words, more so when she changed the way she spoke as she realized Myu was nearby.
"Anyway, what do we do?" - Shea asked as she took out her huge hammer from her inventory - "Do we help?"
"Helping them will cause us a lot more trouble, but it's not like we can ignore a situation like this" - Yue replied neutrally while frowning.
"I share the same opinion, this will cause trouble for us, though we also have to set a good example for Myu-chan" - nodded Tio while looking at the little girl.
"Ok, we'll help them" - sighed Cloud as he watched Myu give him a smile - "No, you can't go with them."
"Oh..." - Myu's expression changed to one much like a puppy that had just been kicked.
"When I've finished the barrier, and trained you to use my weapons, you can join them and punish the bad guys" - Cloud said noticing the sad expression of the young Dagon.
"Really!" - Myu exclaimed excitedly.
"Sure, although that will be in a good while" - nodded Cloud as he saw how the girl seemed to want to give him a hug, although she couldn't because she had her belt on.
"I think you're spoiling our daughter too much" - Remia said with a smile.
"Children have to be pampered and trained in equal parts" - Cloud replied as he watched Shea, Kaori and Shizuku, run to where the caravan to give support - "Do you want to go with them?"
"No, I'm not ready yet" - answered Remia with a frown because she knew she would be a hindrance in their battle . "I need a lot of training."
"Ok, though I'm proud that you accept your weakness" - smiled Cloud as he looked at Myu's mother - "That's the first step to growing up."
"Mom is going to grow up?" - Myu asked curiously as she looked at her mother's chest - "But she's already big."
Remia blushed when she heard this as Cloud gave her a blank look.
Myu smiled slightly as she averted her gaze innocently, and with this Cloud understood that the girl knew what she was saying.
"Well, she has a point, although those breasts aren't as big as mine" - Tio said proudly.
"They're just fat bags" - Yue muttered jealously.
Cloud let out a heavy sigh as he watched Shea's group finish with the job, so he drove slowly towards that place, not knowing that he would soon be reunited with a familiar face.
