"Seriously, couldn't you have been more discreet?" - Ilwa asked as he looked at Cloud, who was sitting across from him next to Tio.
Cloud shrugged his shoulders before watching as Ilwa let out a sigh.
"Ok, I get it, I'm not even going to ask why you did that" - Ilwa said as he shook his head - "At least no one saw you."
"I did it carefully" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "No matter how angry I was, I'm not going to endanger my companions because of my delicate sense of morality."
"I'm curious as to why you did that" - Ilwa muttered as he thought for a few seconds. He had said he didn't care, but he was lying, he was a curious person, and the blond's actions seemed erratic at first glance, but the short time he had known him, he found that he thought things through a lot before making a move.
"Child slave traders" - Cloud replied with disgust - "That's the reason, I hate those bastards."
"Oh, I see" - nodded Ilwa as he started to think - "That explains why you were asking for interesting information about the poor areas of the city, although I would have liked you to be more direct."
"I didn't know if those bastards had sunk their claws into this place" - Cloud answered honestly.
Ilwa frowned, but said nothing to defend himself because he knew there were secrets in his guild that he didn't know about.
"Anyway, I was just coming to give you this information, what you do with them, is your business" - Cloud said as he got up from his seat and left the room.
Ilwa took the sheet and began to read it carefully, only to be surprised to see the name of at least 10 recurring clients of his who were owners of merchant guilds, they were mentioned as people who supported the clandestine slave trade in the city - "Well, this is a surprise."

After leaving the adventurers' guild, Cloud returned to the hotel where they were staying, completely ignoring the corpses that were scattered outside it.
"Oh, they're back" - Yue said as she watched the blond enter along with his masochistic companion.
"Yeah, we finished the job, but it looks like you guys had fun too" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "I should have guessed, I mean, those bastards aren't the type to let a huge amount of money slip away."
"Yeah, on the bright side, I took care of it before Myu-chan found out they were coming for her" - Yue added as she shook her head - "Shea's entertaining her for the meantime"
Cloud nodded calmly as the group returned to their room, ignoring the receptionist who was shivering at the care desk.
The group entered the room after a few seconds, and as it happened, they saw Myu run up against them - "Onii-chan!"
"Hi" - smiled Cloud as he hugged the little girl.
"Is it all over now?" - Shea asked as she tilted her head.
"Yes, now all that's left is to take her home" - Cloud answered as he gave her a small smile, although to get to the desert, he had to pass through a certain city that brought back a few memories.
"Really!" - Myu exclaimed excitedly as she hugged the blond boy tighter - "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Cloud continued to smile as the girls watched this interaction happily.
"Decided, you're daddy!" - Myu exclaimed happily as the expressions of Yue and the others changed to one of confusion, then frowned.
"Dad?" - Cloud repeated, surprised by this change, though it wasn't as if this was anything unusual for him, after all, Sapphire also called him dad - "Why do you call me that?"
"Mom told me that the person who would treat me the best, were mom and dad" - Myu answered with a huge smile - "That's why you're dad!"
Cloud was silent for a few seconds before shrugging his shoulders because this didn't affect him in the slightest, after all, he was planning to leave her at home and continue on his journey.
"Cloud" - Yue said as she felt a bad feeling.
"Leave her, I'm sure that in the future, she will forget us" - Cloud replied calmly as he shook his head.

"I think it's a good time to go back to Orcus, don't you think so too?" - Daisuke asked as he looked around with a small smile - "I mean, we're close to getting to the bottom, and possibly finding Strife to tell them that I didn't attack him."
The heroes were silent as they looked at each other.
"What do you think, Kouki?" - Shizuku asked as she looked at her "leader".
"I think his words have merit" - replied Kouki while frowning - "At least with this, we will be able to find out the truth."
Kaori was silent as she looked at Rika - "What do you think?"
"That there's something weird about all this, Hiyama's words are strange" - Rika replied with a frown - "It's the first time he says something like this, so it makes me think that something changed in him, or maybe..."
Rika was silent for a few seconds before she frowned at the thought of a crazy idea, but the more she thought about it, the more certain she became of her hypothesis.
"What are you thinking, Rika-san?" - Kaori asked curiously.
"It's nothing" - Rika replied as she shook her head as she watched Daisuke Hiyama walk away with a small smile - "It's just that I feel like things aren't as simple as we thought."
Kaori was silent before shaking her head as she didn't understand what was going on.
The boys continued to talk amongst themselves at the premise of the new expedition as Daisuke continued walking.
"Did everything go as we thought?" - asked a female voice.
"Yes, I'm sure they will enter the labyrinth as you asked" - replied Daisuke as he stopped his steps - "Possibly it will be tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, honestly, I don't care."
"And I thought the heroes would be more fair and loyal, but it seems I was wrong" - replied the woman as she let out a laugh.
"I don't care about loyalty, I don't care about my comrades, I only wish for one thing" - Daisuke growled neutrally.
"I know, that woman will be yours when we're done with all the others" - the woman replied as her laughter grew - "But are you sure you only want that woman?"
"The others aren't worth it, and Yaegashi honestly isn't my type even though her boobs are huge" - Daisuke replied as he snorted in disdain.
He again started walking towards his room, leaving alone the woman who was laughing madly.
"It always amazes me how easily corruptible humans are, a single promise to fulfill their fantasies, makes them dance like the monkeys they are" - said the woman as she disappeared from the place.

Four days later, the group was arriving in the capital as Cloud looked around with a strange wistful expression.
"Are you okay?" - Yue asked as she noticed this.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I just didn't think I'd ever see [Orcus]'s entrance again." - Cloud replied as he watched a group of adventurers enter the large maze.
The group continued to move through the streets, ignoring the gaze of the people until they reached the adventurer's guild because Ilwa had informed them about a possible upgrade on their adventurer's card.
"Wow ~!" - Myu exclaimed as she looked all around her with interest.
"I know, this place is interesting" - replied Cloud as he shrugged his shoulders and entered the guild, only to be greeted by annoyed looks full of hostility, especially when they saw the group accompanying him.
"Listen, kid" - said a muscular man, but before he could say anything else, he fell unconscious from the massive killer instinct Cloud was releasing.
"I'm tired of this repetitive shit" - Cloud growled as he looked around with cold red eyes, even those present could tell how his pupils were tearing - "Anyone else want to tell us something?"
Those present shook their heads as Cloud walked towards the inn.
"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild, how may I help you?" - The receptionist asked with a forced smile.
"I heard Ilwa-san sent a direct message" - Cloud said as he raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, are you Cloud-sama?" - Asked the receptionist - "I didn't think the new Gold-ranked adventurer would be someone so young."
"Gold-ranked?!" - exclaimed the onlookers, terrified because that was the highest possible rank as an adventurer, which showed that the blond was dangerous, and they had tried to intimidate him in order to get their girls.
Without a second thought, they ran off without looking back as Cloud shook his head.
"Gold Rank Adventurer!" - A voice Cloud immediately recognized exclaimed.
"Endou?" - Cloud asked in surprise.
"Strife?" - said the boy as he "looked" at the blond standing in front of him - "You're the Gold Rank Adventurer!"
