Mia wondered what could have scared her that much to make her scream that loud. She pulled her towards the bed and gently laid her to rest. As at this point, Mia was still oblivious to the cause of the scream. She looked around the room but found nothing really scary; the only thing that seemed off was the baby lying on the floor. She picked the baby from the floor.
As she walked out of the room with the baby in her hand, Mia realized the long fangs in its mouth; it had now regained its human form. "Perhaps, Miss Thalma saw him transform", Mia thought to herself. She knew exactly what this meant for the baby and herself if Thalma was to tell anybody about it. She had to take her out of the way before she became an obstacle in her mission.
