Kyra's joy knew no bounds when her mate suddenly offered to help her out. What more could she ask for at a time like this? This was the best thing she had ever experienced since she was taken into the castle.
If she had known her mate would be of a great help, she would have asked him earlier before now. Maybe by now things would have been resolved before now.
She waited outside the hall, obediently, just as she was asked to. Who would have thought that all her worries would be solved today. Adonis cleared her throat and prepared herself to meet the king. Though she was no longer a princess, but she hadn't forgotten all that she was taught as a royal princess.
Even though her plan was to have the vampire king pay for what he had done to her, Kyra waited for a while, and just then ,the gates to the hall flew open to her. A guard which stood by the door, signaled her with his hands for her to get inside the hall.
