She watched him walk closer to where she stood. When he was close enough, he paused, staring at her as though she wasn't real.
"It's you, princess Kyra, you are still alive."
What was that? Why was he acting all emotional seeing her? She was expecting him to get angry at her since she was still alive. She detested him for what he did to her and she still did. Why was he acting all emotional now?
"How ..what." he stopped to take in a deep breath. Kyra and Elizabeth took glances at each other. They did not understand the emotions he was pouring out.
Just then, his face fell on Elizabeth, but quickly took his gaze back to her.
"Can I have a moment with you please?"
How strange it was to see Ivan acting this way. Kyra took a glance at Elizabeth and gestured for her to wait, for she would be back soon.
