Just when she hit through with her trainings for the day, twin's made a surprise attack on her by running towards her in high speeds like they were about pouncing on her.
It must have been the horrific face she made that made them shift back to their human form and began laughing terribly at her.
"That's not funny, you two!"
"It may not be, but your expression was tremendously hilarious."
Damian said bad, they both chuckled heartily together.
As usual, Kyra just rolled her eyes at them.
Seeing them both naked without care now, made her wonder if she would also become mindless of her naked form.
Kyra shook her head, not wanting to think about it, though it's a normal tradition for the werewolves, and she wondered if she would also be like them soon, going all naked and all.
"Uhm, Kyra, whatever your plans for Your coming of age ceremony."
She became confused at that moment because she's actually not thought about what she was to do at that particular time.
"Well, I don't know, I guess, I will just have to wait and see how it goes from then on."
Suddenly, she saw the twins shaking their head, obviously disappointed."
"What!"
Danny walked up to her, and held her by the shoulder."
"You are a good friend, and that we all know."
Danny glanced over at her brother, who nodded in agreement.
"But you see, when it comes to your social life, you happen to be as boring as fuck, princess."
Danny stared at her with a slight smile on her face.
"Why don't you let us show you how sweet your life would be outside the mansion."
"Huh? You all know I'm not allowed to leave the mansion, don't you?"
"We know that, okay, but Kyra, you can't go by the rules all the time because they are meant to be broken one way or another."
Kyra understood what they are talking about, but was she really ready to face the outside world?
"C'mon Kyra, do not forget you are a princess and sooner than later, your voice will have to be heard soon. You don't intend to become a weak ruler, are you?"
The twins were attacking her with a series of questions at every angle that she became confused for a moment.
Just as she was about contemplating on her decision, she saw all soldiers bin their mansion take position, she began to wonder about what was going on.
"Do you remember we told you about having a guest soon."
She nodded at Danny, while she continued to keep her eyes out for whom this extinguished guest was, who made everyone in the mansion almost in panic.
"Why are everyone nervous?"
Danny, who stood beside her with a folded arm, watching the crowd, suddenly hit her head lightly with her hands in frustration.
"You should try to be sneaking out sometimes, you know, maybe that way. You will be able to what was happening in not just the mansion, but the mansion as well.
Damian, who seemed to have gone out of sight, suddenly showed up, walking briskly towards them.
"Guys!, I have a perfect plan on how we can attend this meeting."
Kyra opened her eyes wide in shock, wondering how Damian came up with a way."
Not wanting to be left out of their plans, Kyra joined them.
They began passing through a passageway which Kyra never once knew existed, all her life in the mansion
"How did you get to find this place, Damian?" Kyra asked, being the last one behind them, with Damian ahead of them since he's the one leading them.
"Relax, just follow my lead."
Kyra kept shut as she was told to. They must have walked for 30 minutes, Kyra could not tell since she was so busy mapping out the hollows they followed, just in case she needs a place to hide too.
"We are here now." Damian smiled like he's accomplished something great.
They all settle in an opening through which her father's meeting chambers can be seen from.
Kyra peeped curiously to see the visitor, and there he was, seated gracefully at the meeting table. This Alpha in front of her looked nothing young, he looked closer in age range to her father.
"I heard he's the Alpha of the Nightwalker's Pack."
Danny said in a whisper to both Damian and her. She seemed to be the novice among them, for she nothing about the Alpha or his pack
"You mean he's that Alpha? But I heard he has a son who was supposed to take over as Alpha has left the park long ago?"
"That's because in Night walkers Pack, an Aloha is not allowed to rule unless he finds his mate?"
Kyra gasped for what they said.
"Isn't that a cruel treatment for an Alpha? What if he can't find his mate?"
Both Denny and Damian stared at her direction.
"They have to be mated to the one they chose then."
This was choking, this is the first time she's heard of a pack who only gives leadership to an Alpha, only when he's found his mate.
"What about the son who is supposed to be the leader? You think he left the pack because he couldn't find his mate."
"That could actually be the reason, but we heard he left the pack, since a long time ago."
"Your Majesty, since we are good, friend's, I suggest we keep our natural bonding as friends permanent and in the same vain, I wish to ask for the princess's hand in marriage."
"Impudence! Harold, you should know that I am your king before we are friends!"
At the mention of Kyra being proposed marriage to, she gasped and her friends both stared at her wide-eyed.
This cannot be happening to her, she possibly cannot be married to an old Alpha, what if her chosen mate comes along the line? Does this mean, she would have to decide between the Alpha and her mate.
Kyra immediately shook the silly thoughts out of her head instantly
"Your Majesty, you do not seem to understand, what I'm trying to sa_"
"I want to avoid hearing it, Harold, You should take your leave!"
Kyra watched as the Alpha stood up from his chair, and left quietly, with his men tailing behind him.
They also left the secret tunnel where they spied from, leaving Kyra confused. There's just so much she wishes to ask her parents, but seeing how busy they were consistently, made her keep silent about all what she felt.
The next day, Kyra had decided to go out with her friends to the outside world as they have said, but she didn't know how she was to dress, so she waited patiently for Danny.
An hour later, Danny came around, well-dressed in a short blue dress with silver shiny laces.
She just stared at Danny speechlessly. Her curly blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, her face well adorned with makeup.
"You might attract files if you keep staring with your lips apart."
Kyra immediately pressed her lips together.
"Well, I don't need to ask how I look because your expression already said what I wish to hear. By the way, you aren't dressed yet, why?"
" You know, I've never been out before, and I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to put on, you know."
Danny seemed to be looking at her carefully. Maybe contemplating on what to do.
Immediately, she began rummaging through her closets.
"Wow, Kyra, you are indeed a princess, you have so many things that I never would have imagined having."
Kyra just stood watching her friend go wide-eyed with every dress she sees.
Well, she cannot say the same for herself because she's totally off fashion. All she does is spend her time, painting or going through series of videos.
Her parents at least made it possible for her to acquire all the things needed to live a comfortable life, but then, she still wished to explore all the places she hasn't been before, also meet new people.
Besides, no one would know who she really was outside, so she can as well have the time of her life while she still can.
Once Danny was done dressing her up, she peered at herself in the mirror and wow… She could not believe she was actually this beautiful.
She glanced at Danny, who smiled cheekily.
"Now I say, you are a real beauty queen. I swear, even the king and Luna won't recognize you."
Kyra smiled brightly at her friend while she continued touching the beautiful short white dress with exquisite design, which laid on her body perfectly.
While they were preparing to go out, Damian waited for them at the planned meeting area.
