Qi Yan's POV:
I guessed I suspected that she would want to break the engagement off. But never did I imagine she would get with that guy. Why him? What did she see in him? It's not as if he's better than me. Why can't she just remember everything? I swear to god, the moment she gets all of her memories back I will make her pay for it. She will regret everything she has done today.
"I thought you wouldn't agree. I mean you have loved her since you were kids," asked Grandpa as he got in the car with me. My parents were in the car behind us. "Could I not agree? If I don't agree then if any reporters see the two dating, I would be painted as cuckold. Besides, she's right about one point. I managed to make her fall for me once. I can make her fall for me again. I will chase her back again," I explained. "Haha, that's my grandson. I believe in you. Good luck," Grandad cheered whilst laughing. "Thanks, I will need it," I announced.
Suddenly, a message on my phone popped up, it was a message from Hui Qing on WeChat. She just explained that she was going to block me on all the apps we used to talk on. I thought there was no need to go to this extreme but apparently, she didn't think so. Was there really a need to block your ex? She really is so efficient. I was gonna send her a message saying there was no need for her to do so, but she had already blocked me. She even blocked my number. It looks like this is gonna be a lot harder than I thought.
Another message popped up on my phone, it was a Weibo that Hui Qing had posted. In it, she explained we had broken up civically and asked for people to forget about us. She really is efficient. It hasn't even been an hour and I've been blocked already. Her relationship status has been turned into single haha. I thought she liked the other dude.
Many of the comments were asking why we broke up but she just said she lost feelings but it was a civil breakup. It was not civil. I do not agree with this breakup. How could she just write off our relationship like this? If everything had gone to plan we would've just celebrated our first year anniversary.
Since she already posted about it then I suppose I too should post something. In my Weibo post, I wrote that we had broken up but I still loved her. I hope she will come back to me. Was this too much or not? Ugh, whatever, I don't mind acting like a lovesick puppy as long as she comes back to me.
Just after a few minutes of posting, I noticed that Hui Qing had liked it before blocking me. Was it necessary to block me on Weibo as well? I wonder how awkward it will be when we are at a party with all our mutual friends. The people commenting on my post were also wondering why we broke up. My explanation was that it was a civil breakup following Hui Qing's explanation even if I didn't agree to it. But this explanation was so much simpler than to explain everything.
Hui Qing, you are doing so much to get away from me. I am quite curious whether or not you will regret it in the future. I will make sure you regret it. I will make you fall in love with me again it will be my biggest goal until I win you back.
I called Chen Jia Ping to let him know I would be taking a longer break away from the company then I wanted to. I know he wouldn't be too happy about this but he didn't say anything. I suppose he must have seen my Weibo post. "Yan ge, if you ever need someone to talk to or drink with, I'm always here," he muttered before ending the call. I smiled and thought that he saw my post. Well whether he belives it or not, I was okay. I will be okay.
