Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: The verdict (2):

As soon as I was out of the courtroom, a lot of reporters came rushing over to my side. They pushed their mics in front of my face whilst taking pictures. Many of the reporters were asking about my health issues. They were also asking me to explain the whole kidnapping. This whole business is quite big news especially since it involves the fiance of the Qi family. Everyone was looking into this business.

I took one of the mics saying "I have nothing to say. Thank you for everyone's concern,". Song Ze Yu rushed me into a silent room blocking everyone from seeing or hearing anything. He pulled the blinds down whilst Qi Yan and Huai Ning entered the room.

"Jie jie are you okay?" Huai Ning asked as he handed me some water. "I'm fine, I think I remember everything to do with the kidnapping," I muttered. "Wait really? Do you remember anything else?" Qi Yan hurriedly asked I shook my head. "It's okay. Take your time. We can slowly try to recover your memories," assured Song Ze Yu as I nodded.

"I suppose I have to hold a press conference soon to address this situation," I announced as Huai Ning nodded. "Qi Yan, let me tell you honestly that I have no interest in continuing this engagement. I will discuss it with our elders to end this engagement. Perhaps old me likes you but me now definitely doesn't. I see no point in continuing an engagement that was spun onto us when we were kids," I declared as he looked at me shocked. He didn't say anything but left the room. I suppose it will be quite hard for him to take the news. But he will have to deal with it.

The room went into a weird silence before Ze Yu asked, "Does that mean I have a chance?" I looked at him and struggled my shoulders. I still don't know the answer to that question. I need to work it out though.

30 minutes later, the secretary announced that the case was resuming and asked us all to return. I walked inside the courtroom alongside Song Ze Yu and Huai Ning. I saw many people taking pictures and recording us as we entered the room. In the courtroom, no one was allowed to record or take pictures they could only use their eyes and write things from their memory.

"Court," the secretaries shouted as we all stood up and bowled. The judge turned over to the jury and asked whether or not they had reached a justified conclusion. The spokesperson stood up and bowed and replied, "Your honour, we have reached a justified conclusion. All of us agree that Feng Xiu Ying is guilty. We believe that she should be sentenced to life imprisonment,".

The Judge looked at the jury and nodded. She turned towards the audience saying, "I now announced Feng Xiu Ying as guilty and sentenced her to life imprisonment. However, because she is mentally ill. Her life sentence should be held in a mental illness hospital. Even after her sentence ends she should stay in that hospital forever," the judge announced.

I turned to look at Feng Xiu Ying however she looked so shocked she was even screaming "No, no,". The judge stood up and her secretaries shouted "Court,". Everyone stood up and bowed as the judge left the room. Xiu Ying was quickly taken out by the guards to where she would spend her life imprisonment.

"We used to be best of friends, how did things end up like this?" I whispered. "I'm not sure," replied Huai Ning. "I'm not too happy with the verdict," I whispered. "Song Ze Yu, would you like to do me a favour?" I asked as he nodded. I waited for everyone to leave the room leaving us three here. I leaned into his ears and mumbled "Please help me find someone to 'look after' Feng Xiu Ying. I don't want her to die. I want her life to be worse than hell,".

Song Ze Yu nodded and smiled. "This is the Fu Hui Qing I know. I don't think I ever understood why you let Luo Wen Ning and Feng Xiu Ying off when they cheated on you," he declared as I laughed. "The old Miss Fu is back," I announced. I feel like as I grew older, I became more merciful but the younger me was very hectic.

I later found out that Xiu Ying couldn't stand people looking after her and decided to kill herself after 2 months. I suppose that is a matter done. Either way, her dying meant that she wouldn't be able to kill me in the near future. Both Luo Wen Ning and Feng Xiu Ying have died. Right now I should find my lovely granduncle and all his descendants. I'm not sure where they are, but I must find them all. Otherwise, the Fu family will be in trouble.
