Soon we arrived at the orthopedics department. However, we were directed to the MRI section first. I lay back down on the platform thingy as Ren Ran started the MRI. I was extremely nervous and I believed they could tell because a voice I was too familiar with started to tell me some jokes.
"Hui Qing do you remember how I started to play the harp?" Song Ze Yu asked as I nodded smiling those were good memories. "I remember that Song Ze Lin wanted to play the guitar but Uncle Song gave him a harp instead. The reason was that Uncle Song believed that any idiot could learn the guitar it only had 6 strings. But a harp has millions of strings. Uncle Song believed that Ah Lin was too smart to play the guitar hence he played the harp. Gosh, I'm never gonna be able to hear him play the harp anymore," I muttered as everyone looked at the intruder.
"Well, what about me?" Song Ze Yu asked. "Well at first you didn't want to learn the harp but Uncle Song made you. However, after Aunty passed away you stopped playing the harp and instead picked up the cello. Like Aunty you were gifted to play the cello," I muttered as he nodded.
Light conversation continued and soon we were done.
Ren Ran brought me back to the orthopedist department where we were seen by the consultant, Evan Tia. "Miss Fu, I have heard from Doctor Ran that you don't quite remember anything but the MRI here shows everything is ok. Well, it's slowly working again. That's quite strange," muttered Doctor Tia.
"When she fell off the cliff she hurt her head, fractured her legs and punctured her liver whilst damaging one of her kidneys. We did a transplant surgery changing her liver from a donator and removing one of her kidneys," explained Ren Ran, "The surgery was quite successful and her body did accept the liver quite well,". This was new news to me.
"I don't think Miss Fu not being able to walk has anything to do with that. I think it is mainly because she was in a coma for quite a long time and her legs haven't gotten used to her being awake again. Even the blood test she took yesterday morning shows her organ system is slowly getting back to work. Her legs were fractured before so she probably needs to do some therapy to get her legs to work again," stated Doctor Tia. I nodded and asked, "How long would that take?". "I can't give you the correct time. It can go for as long as 2 years. This is just an estimate but I'm sure in your case it will be shorter. If you work hard together with me, I'm sure you will be able to work in no time," replied Doctor Tia as everyone gasped.
Woah. Two years. That's quite a long time... Song Ze Yu knelt and looked at me eye to eye and said "It's ok... we will all be here supporting you. We will always be your strongest support. Although, we can't help you relieve the pain don't worry I'll try everything I can to make sure you keep a smile on your face,". I nodded with him due to his words. "I will also go through this part of our journey with you," stated Qi Yan as I stared at him. 'Our journey?' I'm not even that close to you.
Huai Ning stayed with Ren Ran to discuss my recovery plan. I then asked Song Ze Yu to bring me outside. This morning there was lovely weather I wanted to look outside.
