Hui Qing Perspective:
After that episode, I sent Qi Yan home and spent the whole day mooching at home thinking about what Qi Yan would think of me. "Qing Qing what is it with you today?" mum asked at dinner. "Ma, Jia has fallen deep into the troubles of love," Xiao Yun said sweetly whilst laughing at me. I glared deeply at her as everyone laughed along. So in the end our dinner ended up being talking about my love troubles. π€¦
The next day (Monday) went very strangely I woke up around 7 am to get ready to take my car to uni. We live in Beijing though our grandparents live in Guan Zhou, which is our hometown and Tsing Hua is located in Beijing. I had found quite a matching set in my wardrobe a lightish brown vest shirt silky material-wise as it was expected to be quite sunny today. The vest shirt had a breast pocket with a rose drawn on it. On top of that, I was wearing a white cardigan, although it was expected to be sunny there was still a slight breeze. I was wearing a brown and white squared pattern skirt with a tiny belt on top. My hair was straight, medium length, dark brown that was tied neatly into a ponytail leaving out my curtain bangs. For my makeup, I had gone for a fresh look. Sadly for me, I was short-sighted but I wore contacts most of the time, however, I didn't feel like wearing cons today so glasses it was. My glasses were gold and round shaped.
" Hui Qing doesn't go to school today, call in sick. Don't go anywhere as well stay home for the time being also don't go online as well," commanded my mother as she opened my door said her bit and left. ' Wait so I got dressed and everything just to be told to stay at home? What exactly is going on? I'll text Wei Wei*(1) to ask for a leave for me.'
* Text with Wei Wei:
Hui Qing: Eh Wei Wei helps me explain to the professor I ain't coming in today. I don't feel quite well.
Wei Wei: π
Hui Qing: Ty 520*(2)
Wei Wei: Xiao Qing don't go Weibo*(3) today ok?
Hui Qing: Why?
Wei Wei: just don't ok?
Hui Qing: When someone tells you not to do something your gonna do it πππ€£π€£
And so I went onto Weibo and strolled through the latest headlines. Though I kept on getting messages on Wechat*(4) from Wei Wei telling me to stop scrolling and things like that. ' Wtf Luo Wen Ning, how dare you!' I screamed in my head as for the first time my name had appeared on hot search. Luo Wen Ning had made a post about how I immediately dumped him when I got engaged to Qi Yan. Underneath there were a lot of hate comments towards me about how I was trying to be a phoenix flying towards the sky when I was only a little bird, and like how I don't deserve Qi Yan. I bit back tears as the post immediately vanished with a message from Weibo that this post had been blocked, however, the comments were still going. Saying ' oh wow she does have money this post is already deleted. After how long? ah yes, a 1hr'. I turned my phone off as tears welled in my eyes. I opened it again and I immediately got a lot of messages on WeChat from people who haven't spoken to since middle school asking me if the post were true. I clicked onto me and Wei Wei's chat and I called her on a video call. She noticed my almost smudged mascara and said " I told you not to look at it right?" she continued lecturing me I knew it was only out of kind will but she noticed that I wasn't replying so she began to comfort me. After the video call, I felt more lightheaded from crying but my face look like a mess, 'my mascara was smudged!!' So I ran straight into the bathroom and cleaned myself up and headed downstairs for breakfast.
" So you've already seen it..." ge whispered when I sat down. He must have noticed my red eyes. "Moving on..." I hushed whilst taking a Xiao Long Bao*(5) and some other dim sum*(6) they are the best. I never thought breakfast would last that long or would it be that quiet. Hui Yun excused herself immediately after she was finished claiming she had school. 'oh yeah she had started her bachelor's degree in medical this year, she also goes Tsing Hua, though she's a freshman.
I had decided to also go school surprising my parents but as I opened the front door as I was greeted by a bunch of reporters at the gate being glared at by the security. Mei-mei must have gone out through the back. "Look she's here," I heard someone shout. "Miss is what your ex-boyfriend on Weibo claiming to be true?" someone else asked " What is your relationship with Qi Yan know?" someone else interrupted many more questions were asked and pictures were taken. I was gonna close the door when a black Dong Feng five seated car approached our gate, the car stopped and a man dressed in a black suit with a dark blue tie stepped out wearing sunglasses ' he looks so cool and handsome. " You guy's actions could be considered harassment since you're stopping Xiao Qing and her family from living their daily life. Just wait to be sued," shouted Qi Yan. He walked towards the gate as I nodded at the security to let him in, behind him Secretary Ye pulled out a lawyer note explaining what Qi Yan just said. As he approached me he grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug, though it was unexpected I rested my head on him so naturally. 'Click' I heard the sound of a photo being taken, 'was it the reporters?'. I removed myself from the hug and looked at who took the picture " Mum!!!" I shouted as she and dad laughed and run upstairs.
