Nelson liked me.
The thought bounced around in my head with a trajectory that sparked shivers along the road of my spine. I could feel my face flush as I remembered Nelson's impromptu confession.
'I like you, you lunatic!'. I nearly swooned with joy because this was the confirmation I was searching for. Ever since our near death experience in the woods, I could tell that we had a better connection. We had chemistry, it was obvious how attracted we were to one another but we were just strangers, strangers who kissed, fucked and fell asleep together most of the time but at the end of the day we were just strangers.
