I wake to the sound of birds chirping. There was a serendipity that only nature could provide. I stared up at the large tree that we had slept under, its leaves bathed in the early morning glow as some light peeked through the areas where no leaves could cover. It was nice . Really nice and I felt peaceful as I basked in the wonders of nature before reality smacked me in the face with the sound of Nelson's strained breathing. I pushed myself to my feet, turning as I leaned over him.
In the morning light, Nelson managed to get even worse. His skin pale and clammy as sweat dotted his brow, Nelson's breathing sounded weird, wheezy, like he wasn't getting enough air.
