Vania let Hayam take her to a remote village. Along the way, she chosed to relax and not talk too much. Hayam's words were true. After last night's incident, Vania did feel very tired. Her eyes always wanted to close tightly and her soul went to dreamland.
"Vania, do you want to stop by to eat?" asked Hayam. "Soon there are several places to eat that we can visit. There are also supermarkets and minimarkets. Who knows you might want to buy something."
Vania was silent for a moment. She thought about Hayam's offer. "Since we are going to the village, I want to eat village food like pecel," answered Vania. "Village snacks are also delicious. I've had too many city meals full of junk food. I want to eat something fresh and different."
"Okay. We'll wait when we get to the villa," Hayam replied.
The man returned to concentrate on driving. He took a shortcut through the slopes of Mount Merapi.
Vania lowered the car window. She felt the fresh air in the countryside. The surrounding scenery looked greener and spoiled the eyes.
Vania took a deep breath and exhaled. Oxygen flew more from the lungs to the rest of the body. She felt a sensation of real freshness within her. "I can't wait until the villa," Vania turned and smiled at Hayam. "It would be nice to be able to vacation there."
"I have already told you, didn't I? You're the one who always refuses my words," Hayam replied.
"I didn't mean to refuse," said Vania sadly. "I'm just afraid that you'll get in trouble again from my superiors."
"Get out of that job. A toxic work environment is not good for your mental health. Trust me," Hayam persuaded Vania again.
"You talk like this as if you can finance my life," sneered Vania.
"That's the truth, isn't it?" said Hayam. "I still have a company that makes a lot of money every month. You can relax and just be my wife."
"That sounds really fun," said Vania. Her gaze stared at the green rice fields that were like emerald diamonds. "But, I'm afraid that the media will find out that I used to work as a sugar baby. Wouldn't that make your image bad?"
"Well, there is no perfect human in this world, Vania," replied Hayam. "When you are officially my wife, I will accept and fight for you completely."
Vania pensive. She thought slowly Hayam's words. Last night's incident was part of the peak of Vania's problems. Even if Vania continued to work at the company, she would still be the object of Rosa's bullies. To be honest, Vania was tired too. She only found happiness when she was by Hayam's side. She really wanted to be by his side.
Hayam turned his car into the courtyard of the villa he rented. He turned to Vania just as Vania was staring at Hayam. Vania gave Hayam a small smile.
"If I want to marry you, will you promise to support me at my worst?" she asked.
Hayam was silent for a moment. He had already proposed to Vania several times. However, Vania refused. This time he was also surprised when he heard Vania say something like that.
"You want to marry me?" Hayam replied to the point.
"Promise me first. Please?" whined Vania. She didn't know his way of thinking. What was clear was that she was very tired of her life ever since she had a fight with Rosa. If indeed Hayam was a helper sent by God to her, Vania wanted to accept Hayam now. She didn't want to lie to herself anymore just for the sake of pride.
"Yes," answered Hayam. "You can be my wife and get all the best out of me. I promise to take good care of you."
Vania's feelings swelled. She was so happy that she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. Vania's hand moved to hug Hayam's body.
"I'm tired. I really want to marry you," said Vania.
Finally, she cried in someone's arms. And, that person is Hayam. The man that Vania really wanted to avoid. However, Hayam was always by her side.
Hayam choked in surprise. He didn't expect Vania to suddenly hug him and say she wanted to marry him. Even so, Hayam did not immediately answer. He was slightly disturbed by the sound of Vania's sobs.
"If you want to marry me, why are you crying so loud?" asked Hayam. He didn't understand Vania's absurd behavior. "You should be happy if you really love me and want to marry me."
Vania wiped her tears. She looked at Hayam with teary eyes. "I don't know why I'm crying right now. I just feel more relieved when I cry and say what I've been hiding all this time," said Vania honestly.
Hayam opened the car dashboard. He took out a tissue and wiped Vania's tears.
"Smile, Vania. You are very beautiful when you smile," said Hayam. "I want to see you smile happily when you say that you agree to marry me. My heart will be very happy and sure if you will do it."
Vania nodded. She started to smile and looked confidently at Hayam. "I want to marry you," said Vania. She repeated her words.
"Thank you," replied Hayam. He kissed her forehead sincerely. Even though this moment didn't feel right, Hayam still liked Vania's willingness to marry him.
"Now you just go into the villa and wash your face. We'll take a leisurely stroll later," said Hayam. He patted Vania's shoulder warmly.
Vania nodded. She opened the car door and got out of there. "Can I help you?" said Vania.
"Do not have to. I can do it myself," said Hayam. "There are villa guards too. You wash your face there."
"Yes," said Vania. Vania's small steps entered the unlocked villa. There were two villa guards waiting in front.
"Sir, please help my husband," said Vania. She couldn't possibly say Hayam was her friend because Hayam's age was too far away. She also didn't want to call Hayam a father because Hayam was not her parents. The only proper way to address Hayam was to call him as "husband".
"Ah, yes, Ma'am," replied the villa guard.
They immediately ran out to help Vania. Meanwhile, Vania stepped into the room where she and Hayam would sleep together.
Vania surrounded a spacious room with a building structure dominated by carved wood. The bathroom had a semi-open concept. There was a medium-sized swimming pool that Vania and Hayam could use to swim there.
Vania gave a small smile. Her mind wandered a little. "Duh, I'm really perverted," said Vania.
"Honey," called Hayam.
Vania jogged in the direction of the voice. Hayam seemed to have brought their two suitcases and a backpack.
"You want to arrange this directly in the cupboard?" asked Hayam. "Or, do you want to leave it in the trunk?"
"Just let it be," said Vania. "I was looking at the swimming pool over there."
"Where?" Hayam stepped closer to Vania. He hugged Vania's body from behind and kissed her cheek.
"Don't be like this," replied Vania. "Let's see the pool first."
"We'll do it in the pool later," Hayam whispered. The man decided to tease Vania. "I've locked the bedroom door."
Vania turned to look at Hayam. She could see Hayam giving her a sweet smile. The man's face slowly approached Vania's face.
Their lips pressed together without many words being spoken. Vania was a little taken aback. However, she still opened her lips to welcome a kiss from Hayam.
Hayam pulled Vania's body to face him. He strengthened his embrace on Vania's body and pressed deeper into Vania's lips. Their tongues intertwined. Their saliva mixed in the mouth perfectly and long enough.
Vania's breath was almost cut off. Hayam so deeply kissed her lips. Hayam's fingers moved to rub the edges of Vania's lips. Vania looked at Hayam and at a glance she could tell that Hayam was wanting her.
"It feels hot," said Vania. "I want to swim."
"Good choice," said Hayam.
Vania let go of Hayam's arms from her body. She smiled sweetly at the man.
"I change clothes first," said Vania. "Could you please order some food for us? Lunch while swimming is nice."
"Okay," Hayam loosened his hug from Vania.
He let Vania go from his arms. The man realized that he wanted to pull Vania onto the bed and fondle her. However, it was still noon now.
"I have to be more patient with myself," Hayam rubbed his chest. He stepped out of the room. Meanwhile, Vania immediately locked herself in the bathroom and changed into a swimsuit.
Hayam ordered Vania traditional food. He remembered that Vania had discussed about traditional food during the trip.
About an hour later, Hayam just returned to the room. He came with a tray of food and drink to eat while swimming.
"Dear!" call Vania. She was waving at Hayam from inside the pool.
Hayam put the tray on the table near the pool. His gaze could not be separated from Vania's body who was wearing a knitted bikini.
The woman did have a beautiful and stunning face. Unfortunately, Vania always covered it with loose clothes when working.
Hayam swallowed his saliva. His mind had already decided on a course of action. He wanted to eat Vania first instead of enjoying the food that was on the table now.
