Vania chose a friendship tablet and bracelet for Lia. The tablet could be used as a means of communication and learning for children. Friendship bracelets could be kept as memories.
"Mommy is the best!" said Lia cheerfully. She gave two thumbs up to Vania. Her face was captivated by Vania's cleverness in finding the right gift. The corner of Lia's eyes glanced annoyed at Hayam.
"Daddy's not good at choosing gifts."
Hayam could only heave a heavy sigh and surrender. Lia really liked to invite him to fight instead of praising him.
"Yeah, Daddy's just good at giving you money," Hayam took the groceries. He took it to the cashier to pay for it.
Vania smiled and looked at Lia. "Honey, you're not like that with Daddy. Without Daddy, our lives can't be happy like this," Vania advised gently.
