"Tian!" called Vania. She approached Tian and Lia who were playing.
"Mom, I'm playing with Tian," said Lia. She showed Vania the lego array that she was playing with Tian.
Lia's gaze turned to Hayam. "Dad, don't scold Tian okay? Tian already promised that he wouldn't kiss me anyway."
Hayam and Vania both gasped in surprise. They didn't expect those words to come out of Lia's tiny mouth.
"You don't have to be afraid of Tian kissing Lia," said Rosa. She provided additional information. "I already reminded Tian to be polite to Lia. You can trust me."
Vania and Hayam turned to Rosa. It looked like Rosa was preparing for the opening of their barbecue.
Vania smiled at Rosa. She took her husband close to Rosa who was grilling meat.
